General maintenance service near Natalbany, LA

I brought my car in to get fixed and as I was explaining the issue to the mechanic his phone rang. While I was talking, without saying "excuse me I need to take this" or "can you hold on a minute" he picks up the phone and just walks away. After I waited for a couple of minutes thinking surely he is coming back , he never came back and never apologized. It was as though he wanted me to leave and that is exactly what I did. How unprofessional! On top of that when we got the car back from them it was worse than it was before! The owner said he would have someone look at it the next day and it was been three days and still have heard nothing! They don't communicate with you about the problems with your car and they pretend as though they did nothing wrong. I do not suggest this shop to anyone.

My car went dead while I was driving in New Orleans one day. I called Mike's Mobile Mechanic Service out. They checked the problem and replaced my alternator while charging my battery.I just wanted a new battery so I could be on my way. But I would of had the same thing happen on my way back home. Mike's was so good at helping me to understand what was needed and I didn't have to waste money on a battery, they saved me from having to get my car towed and god knows how much and how long it would have took at a shop I would have never got home for the kids,Thanks Mike You saved me a lot of money and time.I will call again when I need auto repairs You have a customer for life with me :)

Tye has been repairing my car for over 15 years. He always treated me fairly and I've never had to worry when I leave my car with him. I trust his judgement on what repairs need to be done. He's great at fixing only what needs to be repaired. I recommend his to all of my family members and neighbors and they have been really happy with him. I highly recommend him to everyone.

I have been knowing of and using Diagnostic Auto Repair since the 1980s. Rikey and Paul have been and remain in business in Laplace for a simple reason. These guys know what they are doing and are the best I have found who explain the service or repairs you need and why and do the job right. Being a retired mechanic and auto collector and enthusiast all my life, I know. It is extremely hard for me to let anyone touch my vehicles as I used to do most of my own repairs and for my friends and family until I became disabled in 2006. But I would bring the jobs too big for me to handle to Diagnostic with confidence. Well since I have no choice now, I trust only one auto shop in the area.
