Alvin and Paulo are definitely one of a kind. I originally went here for an oil change as yelp had great reviews regarding their service and specializing in Mini's and BMW's. The reviews are true and they provide great service and treat all their customers with integrity. They are not a shop that will tell you your car needs service just to make a buck. They are straight forward and honest in what your car may need and leave the decision up to you. Recently I unfortunately had my Water pump go out. I called A's Garage right away and Alvin stayed after hours to receive my car from the tow truck and even gave me a lift home. Can't say may places would do that. This shop has won me over and this will be where I will surely get all my services from, from now on.

one of the worst feelings as a car owner is when that red "check engine" light appears...ugh. i brought my truck in today knowing that robert & his crew would be honest with me and let me know if any repairs were truly needed. i feared it was my alternator, a very costly repair... turns out it wasnt, and was related to the ignition box which has been replaced earlier that morning. no repairs were needed! big sigh of relief! i continue to give this business my loyalty because i trust them. bonus is that you get a complimentary car wash with your service. win! win! thank you again silver star !!!

This place was great! They fixed my flat tire for free and got me in and out in less than an hour. Vasken helped me and was super nice! The waiting room was also very clean and comfortable. I'll for sure go here when I buy new tires and service like oil change and brakes. Maggie S. Glendale, CA

Fair prices, great work, and incredibly clean. Also, Aldo (the owner) is great at communicating with you. It's great to have a mechanic that you trust to shoot straight with you. They go above and beyond, can't recommend them enough.

Came here because I had a flat tire. But not only that I needed an oil change so this individual camilo took care of me really fast. Mark and all the folks at Preferred Auto are the best. Since i have had a couple German cars lately i haven't been there for a year or two. When i brought in a used Acura for them to check before i bought, they did an extremely thorough check, and though it was low miles, the car was older and needed more work than i wished to do. The charge was more than reasonable, i would have been happy even if it had been 50% higher for the work done. They are always honest and fair and look out for their customers first. They clearly know that is what has made them so successful. THE BEST! Wish they worked on German sheet metal!! Howard Kaplan

Had my 93 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 at Performance Auto and could be happier with the service. The mechanic was polite, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The only problem I have is I'm moving to Oregon and my old girl will surely miss this shop. Kurt Devincentis
