Rick over there at JnS is the MAN! I purchased my car from carmax and when I called to get warranty work done they referred me to J N S(glad they did). Brought my car down there with a ton of issues. Rick made the process as easy as possible. The guy honestly went out of his way to get my business. 1- Rick called my warranty company for me 2- He scheduled me a rental car that was covered by my warranty 3- Warranty company's are always a pain in the ass but Rick called em did all the leg work got them to pay without having me wait long. 4- I ended up paying less that what my original deductible was! 5- probably my favorite part of my experience was when I picked up my car it was WAXED AND DETAILED! Like I said these guys went above and beyond for my car. Thank you Rick. P.s if you have carmax extended warranty just skip the middle man and call rick they'll charge the same deductible, give you a better warranty that carmax does on their work 3year/36k! Jose C. For over 20 years, I have had all of my vehicles maintained and repaired by B&D, (plus extras like remote starters and sound equipment installed). The prices for parts and labor are transparent and reasonable, quotes for work are on target, my car functions beautifully, and I have consistently felt extremely well treated by everyone in this shop. I refer anyone I care about to B&D Automotive as a trustworthy, skilled resource.

Just had some rot work fixed on my 2001 Ford F150. I had been given a better (complete) quote from Maaco in West Springfield but elected to pay more for less at a local body shop, Entwistles. When they did their "free" safety check, they discovered another $800 dollars of mechanical work that should be done. My mistake again was to have them do it. After $4500, I don't have much to show, but empty pockets. My advice, don't be charmed by the owner, walk out and get a second opinion. Forgot to mention, they didn't even clean up the body work dust in the interior, or was the dirt off the exterior of the truck. Don't think I'll go back there again. My expensive mistake.

Magno auto repair was the WORST place I could EVER have taken my car to. They told me I had so many different things wrong with my vehicle, i had to get a new water pump, 4 sensors, timing belt, etc, in order to get my cadillac cts running in perfect condition. Well, not even a month later my car broke down and now its at a shop where the mechanic has informed me that the service done on my car by Magno's was the cause of my engine almost blowing. Magno's people left wires disconnected, sensors that were switched, they were all in wrong places, they put my engine back together but left screws out and that caused oil to leak all over the engine and brand new parts I had just spent 600$ on. There was also oil leaking from behind the pulleys, which were aparently too small. All that amongs other things, he destroyed my vehicle. After paying so much for a job, I really expected him to do it right, but I am very dissapointed and angry with this experience. My car is currently at another shop, where my vehicle's engine was put completely apart and numerous parts are being changed due to damage caused by him. And Magno will not do anything about it. Also, the receipt he gave my only says "work done for x amount of money" so there isn't much I could do legally. The most dishonest and iresponsible bussiness I've ever came across!

I have a Cadillac Northstar that had an emissions failure for a sticker and ran poorly. I took it to one of the advertised "big box" shops that fix everything for less and after spending $800 and the problem still there, they told me to go to a certified emissions shop to "get a waiver" as it couldn't be fixed. I took it next to a big, major transmission shop that says they "fix check engine lights." After another $1500, they said to get a waiver-it couldn't be fixed. The state hotline said to try Happy Bear as they always have had a 5-Star rating with the state. I did and they fixed it first time and I got my sticker. The other places were just guessing instead of testing and I HAD TO PAY! THANKS HAPPY BEAR!!!!

I took my car here for an oil change yesterday and the service was great! When we were driving back home a little whole later our "check gages" light came on and our oil pressure gage was down completely. We called the store back and the owner came to my house and checked the car which was fine (just a wire). Such great service is rare in a mechanic shop and was such a great surprise!

Do NOT go here. Scott rips people off. I stopped going to him after I was told by two seperate mechanics on two seperate occassions that I was over-charged. The first by at least $400, the second time at least $700. I had the final straw when I left my car with him for almost TWO WEEKS and he still had not looked at it! I have been asking friends for rides to work and every time I ask this guy he says "I've been busy". When I asked what's wrong with it he said HE DOESN"T KNOW. That is proof that he didn't bother to look at my car at all! THIS GUY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND CHARGE FOR LABOR WHEN YOUR CAR IS SITTING IN HIS LOT. HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS HE CARES ABOUT MAKING MONEY AND THAT IS SHOWN BY HIS LACK OF CONSIDERATION IN COMPLETING HIS WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. I understand he's busy, but if you're so busy you cant be bothered to look at my car for over a week and a half then TELL ME TO GO ELSEWHERE!! Seriously, I couldn't be more angry and upset with the lack of consideration and poor treatment at this horrible mechanic. HE IS THE WORST MECHANIC!!! DONT GO THERE!! I've had honda's my whole life and I will never return. BEWARE OF THIS CRAP HOLE SHOP!!!

I was told about this place from a coworker who raved at his honesty and technical knowledge. Also our vehicle maintainece guy also said he was good. I dropped my truck off to have a boched job that another place did, he had me straightened out in short order and the bill was reasonable. Definitley use them again!

Brought my BMW to be serviced seeing it was running rough and the CBS indicators showed that I needed rear brake liners and a fluid flush. The tech's found the problem and recommended a course of action. They even said that the last dealership I bought the car from did not reset the brake sensor and I did not need pad or liner's. The communication on their progress was great and the price was fair; let's face it, when you opt to buy a BMW you should go into this purchase understanding that these cars need maintenance and the parts for them are not cheap.
