Banchwerks was created by a group of car enthusiasts to fill the void in the Rhode Island performance shop market. We work on cars because that is what we like to do. Basically we are a bunch of car fanatics and we would like nothing more to make your car exactly they way you want it. Our 7500 square foot location is located right off the highway in the heart of Providence at 357 West Fountain St. We have the speciality equipment and expertise to repair, weld, improve and fabricate parts for your car. Do NOT go here. Scott rips people off. I stopped going to him after I was told by two seperate mechanics on two seperate occassions that I was over-charged. The first by at least $400, the second time at least $700. I had the final straw when I left my car with him for almost TWO WEEKS and he still had not looked at it! I have been asking friends for rides to work and every time I ask this guy he says "I've been busy". When I asked what's wrong with it he said HE DOESN"T KNOW. That is proof that he didn't bother to look at my car at all! THIS GUY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND CHARGE FOR LABOR WHEN YOUR CAR IS SITTING IN HIS LOT. HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS HE CARES ABOUT MAKING MONEY AND THAT IS SHOWN BY HIS LACK OF CONSIDERATION IN COMPLETING HIS WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. I understand he's busy, but if you're so busy you cant be bothered to look at my car for over a week and a half then TELL ME TO GO ELSEWHERE!! Seriously, I couldn't be more angry and upset with the lack of consideration and poor treatment at this horrible mechanic. HE IS THE WORST MECHANIC!!! DONT GO THERE!! I've had honda's my whole life and I will never return. BEWARE OF THIS CRAP HOLE SHOP!!!

I"ve never been to AAMCO for auto service,I've gone to other shops I thought I knew fairly well> I had transmision issues with both my vehicles within a month< along with other vehicle problems.The other shops had different diagnosis for the problems. After much time in the shops ,and substantial cash outlays, the problems persisted to some extent in both vehicles. I went to AAMCO,I had my transmission problems pinpointed very promptly, I discussed other suspension issues,engine isues, that I was having with both vehicles,I told the tech I was very discouraged with the other shops, I wasn't sure of my next move.THe tech told me that he would get to the root of the problems,HE SURE DID! My transmisions were fixed ASAP,and the problems that were so elusive to others,were handily identified and resolved.AAMCO went above and beyond any expectations I had.These guys are the best.They deserve all the credit in the world. I would very highly recommend AAMCO for any and all repairs to your vehicle

I came into this autobody shop because I had always had excellent service. I needed my back light changed and they found that my battery was leaking acid and needed to be changed immediately. I was driving to New Jersey the next day, so I was very grateful that they found this problem and fixed it. Today I was driving home in the snow and my tire light went on. I drove back to them and they checked my tires and put air in them for no charge. I have always received wonderful service from this business and I would highly recommend them.

They took my deposit for an automobile and then continued to try and sell it while holding the deposit, obviously under false pretenses, a clear violation of MGL Chap. 93 (A) Then they refuse to give my deposit back saying I forfeited it even though they still offered it for sale while holding the deposit. Definitely a violation of consumer protection laws in Massachusetts.

I wanted to thank the mechanics of Safeway on Atwood avenue in Cranston for their excellent service on my vehicle. My wife and I went in this morning for an oil change and inspection. They went above and beyond with outstanding customer service. They Informed me of preventative maintenance and that my tire pressure was not correct and even corrected the issue. The price was fair and service was excellent. They put plastic in the car and even vacuumed it! I go to Safeway with my company vehicle and my personal vehicle for all repairs/maintenance. I highly recommend Safeway to anyone who cares about their vehicle and want to know that their vehicle will be properly serviced by quality mechanics!

Joe Papolla Jr or Joe & Son's Service, Inc In Cranston, Rhode Island, and the rest of his family, have almost 70 combined years of experience being thieves and screwing the public. Guys a thief. Half the time he cant figure out what is wrong, even something as simple as a tire leak. Other times, he cant fix it the first time, or the second, or the third. And dont be fooled, he doesn't do all his own work, he farms out the bigger or more complex jobs to others who are just as incompetent and could care just as little. He engages in both insurance and warranty fraud. he charges customers for replacing parts he never replaces and services he never performs. Having earned himself the title of "The Clamp King" for his belief he can fix any automotive issue by putting clamps on it and the customer will not notice, no repair he makes can be counted on to last or be done correctly. Complete A-hole. Although, maybe you could bring him something like a ford escort and he could figure out where the washer fluid goes.Maybe. But he'll probably just throw and bunch of clamps on it and say its fixed hoping you dont know it. Consistently screws customers and credit card companies by not touching cars that are brought back to him for his screwing up the repair the first time, hoping to not restart the clock on the claim. He has mastered the art of escaping liability for his malfeasance because he has faced every type of claim throughout the history of this business which should tell you all you need to know. The only way he stays in business is through police and organized crime connection in the sh*t bag state of rhode island.

Rick over there at JnS is the MAN! I purchased my car from carmax and when I called to get warranty work done they referred me to J N S(glad they did). Brought my car down there with a ton of issues. Rick made the process as easy as possible. The guy honestly went out of his way to get my business. 1- Rick called my warranty company for me 2- He scheduled me a rental car that was covered by my warranty 3- Warranty company's are always a pain in the ass but Rick called em did all the leg work got them to pay without having me wait long. 4- I ended up paying less that what my original deductible was! 5- probably my favorite part of my experience was when I picked up my car it was WAXED AND DETAILED! Like I said these guys went above and beyond for my car. Thank you Rick. P.s if you have carmax extended warranty just skip the middle man and call rick they'll charge the same deductible, give you a better warranty that carmax does on their work 3year/36k! Jose C. It's so hard to find an honest repair shop, but that's what you get at Elite. No nonsense, honest assessment of your car's problem, with no upselling or exaggerating. Just the facts, with quality service and parts, at less than dealership prices. They do specialize in Toyota/Lexus, but I've brought my Hondas there for years and have been very pleased. I've found a place I can trust, and that's where I'll bring all my family's vehicles.

After my old beat up car broke down in Warwick, RI on my way back to NYC, I happened to find Rebello Auto. Mike was amazing and had me out the door in 90 minutes with my car running better than ever! Mike got on the phone and made sure all the parts would still be under warranty in NY just in case, and although it had nothing to do with the repair, he made sure the super friendly care dudes topped off the fluids, checked the tires, and got everything set so we would be safe the rest of the way home. The pricing was very competitive and he went over everything before the work was done. While I was waiting I saw Mike handle a number of people who he knew and remembered, and they had obviously been doing work with Mike for a while. If I was in Rhode Island I would certainly be a repeat customer just like them. Thank you so much guys!
