For over 20 years, I have had all of my vehicles maintained and repaired by B&D, (plus extras like remote starters and sound equipment installed). The prices for parts and labor are transparent and reasonable, quotes for work are on target, my car functions beautifully, and I have consistently felt extremely well treated by everyone in this shop. These folks are probably the most caring and honest mechanics around. I had my car towed to this shop from another because I heard how honest George Jr. is. I'm so glad I did. I got an estimate of $954.00 for a whole bunch of work that my 2004 honda civic needed from thwe other shop. George went through the estimate and double checked what the other shop said and It wasn't true at all. George fixed what I needed and now my car runs like new. My bill was only $255.81. What a deal. I cant say enough about them. Thank you guys.

The owner has been servicing my car for about 15 years. Unless it was an absolute emergency and he was unavailable, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. He does a great and conscientious job, on time, for a reasonable price, and more than once has saved me significant money. As an example, I recently took my car to the dealer to have a malfunctioning (and wide-open) window repaired. (This is a case where it was an emergency and he wasn't available!) The repair cost hundreds of dollars. 5 weeks later the repair failed, and the dealer told me their repair didn't fail; it was actually a NEW issue that would cost me another big pile of money to fix. No thanks, I said and headed to S&W. Turns out the problem was a loose connection, an easy fix. S&W saved me $400! Today I used their auto repair shop for service on my car. My stepdad typically does all my mechanical work on my car but, he has since moved to another state so I need to fen for myself. I called Nissan and was quoted $289 for an oil change, tire rotation, oil filter and general check up. I printed out the maintenance sheet for the milage on my car and gave it to the mechanic at Woodside, who had also called Nissan to verify the service requirements for my mileage. When I picked up my car and saw the invoice for $76 I was ecstatic. They fulfilled all the checkpoints on the maintenance sheet from Nissan for a third of the price. Amazing small business service and customer service. Keep the small businesses around and it works out for everyone.
