Fixed a couple of issues with my tranny, 2001 Pontiac Grand AM. My biggest take away was just how nice they were. I never felt like I was being taken advantage and they stayed within their quote even though labor was 5+ hours more than the estimate . If you need work done just call them!! I own a BMW 328Xi and was looking for a guy who doesn't rip me off but is knowledgeable about the European cars. Mechanic Advisor suggested Nicks which is right off the exit 32 on I93. Nick was very sensible and had given me the best estimate I could get. Even though I was keen on getting other things fixed, Nick suggested that they were in decent shape for now. Just purchased a used car on 5/6/19 from Bob Celati dealer/owner/mechanic of Central Automotive.Under the terms of Bob's Purchase Agreement the vehicle is covered by "30 day Express Warranty" provided by dealer and "Implied Warranty of Merchantability and fitness" provided by the state to protect buyers of used vehicles from defects that impair the safety and use of a vehicle.During the warranty period I was having a problem with my power steering a problem that would be considered a defect that impairs the safety of a vehicle. Under The Massachusetts used car Warranty Law that was displayed in the vehicle at the time of purchase the dealer is required by law to fix the problem or issue a refund. Bob acknowledged that there was a problem with the steering. He tried to diagnos and fix the problem but was unable to.So he offered a refund/ buy-back I accepted. Bob said he would only honor the buy-back under one condition that I agreed to sign a "Confidentiality Agreement" I have since tried to contact Bob in an attempt to resolve problem.He refuses to respond.
