My husband brought a van there to get repainted over 3 weeks ago and we were told the job would take about 4 weeks. Over the 3 weeks not much was getting done so my husband offered to help them at night, which I thought was crazy since we are paying them. He helped out two nights and then he thought that they were actually going to really start working on it so he stopped going. Yesterday he went by to see how it was going and the owner (the son) freaked out on him, insulted him personally and called the van a "rust bucket". My husband was questioning why not much had been done yet. He told him to get the van out because he didn't want the job any more after having it for 3 weeks so my husband had no choice and wanted to avoid a fight since the guy seemed unstable. He took it to two other autobody places today and they all said that Best Autobody ruined the van and it would cost almost $10000 to fix it properly so that it doesn't rust through the new paint job!!!!! I have a Cadillac Northstar that had an emissions failure for a sticker and ran poorly. I took it to one of the advertised "big box" shops that fix everything for less and after spending $800 and the problem still there, they told me to go to a certified emissions shop to "get a waiver" as it couldn't be fixed. I took it next to a big, major transmission shop that says they "fix check engine lights." After another $1500, they said to get a waiver-it couldn't be fixed. The state hotline said to try Happy Bear as they always have had a 5-Star rating with the state. I did and they fixed it first time and I got my sticker. The other places were just guessing instead of testing and I HAD TO PAY! THANKS HAPPY BEAR!!!!

I took my car here for an oil change yesterday and the service was great! When we were driving back home a little whole later our "check gages" light came on and our oil pressure gage was down completely. We called the store back and the owner came to my house and checked the car which was fine (just a wire). Such great service is rare in a mechanic shop and was such a great surprise!
