I just had the clutch repaired on my 1974 MG Midget at Ron's transmission. He took the time to figure out the exact problem, ordered the correct parts and fixed the issue without a full clutch rebuild/replace. I was thrilled with his expert analysis of the situation to repair my car without pulling the engine, which would have been an expensive procedure. Ron and Paula provided quality service at a reasonable price, and I would certainly return.

NEVER AGAIN. Manipulated, lied to, and guilt tripped into giving up my first car - a rare vintage Japanese sedan I had wanted to own since I was a little kid in elementary school +15 years ago. They let it sit for almost 2 months before putting it on a lift and giving me the runaround - blatant excuses saying it was unroadworthy and too far gone due to rot on a frame rail and a strut tower (could have been fixed by someone proficient in fabricating and welding) Claimed that for some of the work that COULD be done they'd have to use parts (subframe, axles & suspension related stuff) off the next gen of model on it which is impossible and should have keyed me in on their cluelessness and BS. To add insult to injury they lied a second time upon calling a relative of mine after I published a negative Google review detailing my experience there and intimidated me into deleting my review (very unprofessional and mafia-like behavior) - the gist of what I said in the review was it made no sense to have "restoration" in their services if they couldn't fix unibody rot and didn't have a fabricator working for them. Somehow (at least according to my relative) they interpreted this as me blaming them for the rust on the car - absolutely preposterous. If you are young and own a vintage car stay far far far away - these people only cater to people who drive appliances on wheels. If you're a boomer with a 73-77 Monte Carlo though they'll treat you like royalty and put pics of it on their FB page. Once again, stay far far far away - don't go through the same amount of mental stress and anguish as I have.

I had my car towed to this shop from another because I heard how honest George Jr. is. I'm so glad I did. I got an estimate of $954.00 for a whole bunch of work that my 2004 honda civic needed from thwe other shop. George went through the estimate and double checked what the other shop said and It wasn't true at all. George fixed what I needed and now my car runs like new. My bill was only $255.81. What a deal. I cant say enough about them. Thank you guys.

Our family has been taking our cars to Shell in the Square for years now, both for minor, expected, and unexpected repairs. We rely on the staff's judgement on our old car and have gotten excellent advice, timely repairs and are well satisfied with their service.

The owner has been servicing my car for about 15 years. Unless it was an absolute emergency and he was unavailable, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. He does a great and conscientious job, on time, for a reasonable price, and more than once has saved me significant money. As an example, I recently took my car to the dealer to have a malfunctioning (and wide-open) window repaired. (This is a case where it was an emergency and he wasn't available!) The repair cost hundreds of dollars. 5 weeks later the repair failed, and the dealer told me their repair didn't fail; it was actually a NEW issue that would cost me another big pile of money to fix. No thanks, I said and headed to S&W. Turns out the problem was a loose connection, an easy fix. S&W saved me $400! I've been a customer of Eco's for over 20 years.The reason for that is the outstanding professional work performed by the skilled technicians. I couldnt be happier with the work that 290 did on my car. You can bring your vehicle to 290 and know that your not going to get ripped off. No matter how big or small the job is they get it done right.When I got my suv back from 290 I was so surprised they had cleaned my car at no cost to me!!!!! The owner is so nice, he explains everything that he needs to do to your vehicle in detail before he does it. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. In the future I need any work done on my car I will bring it to 290 AUTOBODY without hesitation!!!!!!!
