I just had the clutch repaired on my 1974 MG Midget at Ron's transmission. He took the time to figure out the exact problem, ordered the correct parts and fixed the issue without a full clutch rebuild/replace. I was thrilled with his expert analysis of the situation to repair my car without pulling the engine, which would have been an expensive procedure. Ron and Paula provided quality service at a reasonable price, and I would certainly return.

Fixed a couple of issues with my tranny, 2001 Pontiac Grand AM. My biggest take away was just how nice they were. I never felt like I was being taken advantage and they stayed within their quote even though labor was 5+ hours more than the estimate . If you need work done just call them!! I"ve never been to AAMCO for auto service,I've gone to other shops I thought I knew fairly well> I had transmision issues with both my vehicles within a month< along with other vehicle problems.The other shops had different diagnosis for the problems. After much time in the shops ,and substantial cash outlays, the problems persisted to some extent in both vehicles. I went to AAMCO,I had my transmission problems pinpointed very promptly, I discussed other suspension issues,engine isues, that I was having with both vehicles,I told the tech I was very discouraged with the other shops, I wasn't sure of my next move.THe tech told me that he would get to the root of the problems,HE SURE DID! My transmisions were fixed ASAP,and the problems that were so elusive to others,were handily identified and resolved.AAMCO went above and beyond any expectations I had.These guys are the best.They deserve all the credit in the world. I would very highly recommend AAMCO for any and all repairs to your vehicle

I came into this autobody shop because I had always had excellent service. I needed my back light changed and they found that my battery was leaking acid and needed to be changed immediately. I was driving to New Jersey the next day, so I was very grateful that they found this problem and fixed it. Today I was driving home in the snow and my tire light went on. I drove back to them and they checked my tires and put air in them for no charge. I have always received wonderful service from this business and I would highly recommend them.

Hurd they towed a shit ton of people saying they were a illegally parked I'm not sure about there actual auto services but seems kinda scummy and untrustworthy to me..wouldn't be the type of people I'd like having my vehicle.

My transmission kept running slow in low gear...air bag light was on and it was determined that it was the clock spring in the steering column. Mr Warzycha was professional and friendly. He gave me the finished estimate with no hidden costs. He also showed me the defective parts. I will continue to use him as my mechanic.

Since I moved to Wilmington last year, I have been been dreading finding a new mechanic. It took me a year, but I think found exactly what I am looking for. I discovered M&S on Angie's list where it was highly rated. After talking to Mark for a couple of minutes I was immediately at ease, and felt like my car was in really good hands. I needed my AC fixed. Mark explained to me how they diagnose, find, and fix problems with the AC. Mark really impressed me with his knowledge of the AC in my car's make and model. He called me after diagnosing the problem and gave me an estimate before performing any work. He made recommendations on parts, and gave me my choice. He ended up charging me $70 less than his estimate. Mark earned my business, and I thought I'd write a glowing review so that other's can find this guy as well. -John Jenson

NEVER AGAIN. Manipulated, lied to, and guilt tripped into giving up my first car - a rare vintage Japanese sedan I had wanted to own since I was a little kid in elementary school +15 years ago. They let it sit for almost 2 months before putting it on a lift and giving me the runaround - blatant excuses saying it was unroadworthy and too far gone due to rot on a frame rail and a strut tower (could have been fixed by someone proficient in fabricating and welding) Claimed that for some of the work that COULD be done they'd have to use parts (subframe, axles & suspension related stuff) off the next gen of model on it which is impossible and should have keyed me in on their cluelessness and BS. To add insult to injury they lied a second time upon calling a relative of mine after I published a negative Google review detailing my experience there and intimidated me into deleting my review (very unprofessional and mafia-like behavior) - the gist of what I said in the review was it made no sense to have "restoration" in their services if they couldn't fix unibody rot and didn't have a fabricator working for them. Somehow (at least according to my relative) they interpreted this as me blaming them for the rust on the car - absolutely preposterous. If you are young and own a vintage car stay far far far away - these people only cater to people who drive appliances on wheels. If you're a boomer with a 73-77 Monte Carlo though they'll treat you like royalty and put pics of it on their FB page. Once again, stay far far far away - don't go through the same amount of mental stress and anguish as I have.
