Don't go to these guys unless like me you live in the neighborhood and have more important things to do than worry about paying twice the reasonable price for a set of blades. I moved out of state and am sad that I couldn't bring Lenny with me. He is the nicest and most honest mechanic I have ever worked with. The first time I brought my car in I thought I had an electrical problem. Both of my headlights went out at the same time and a spare bulb I had didn't work. I took it in to Lenny and after about 15 minutes he came back and told me that my bulbs blew. Apparently, my spare bulb was also bad. He only charged me the price of a pair of new bulbs. No labor costs! Seriously cheap and he didn't seem pissed that I was a numb-sack for bringing my car in for blown bulbs. The second time I brought my car in I had some starting problems. Lenny found the problem right away and quickly changed out the parts for much less than what I would have paid elsewhere. (I have a mechanic friend in Hawaii that I called and even he said that the repair was cheap!) When I went to pick up the car, Lenny handed me my GPS that I left on the dashboard. He took the time to take out the GPS because he didn't want someone to break into my car to steal it. What a guy! It's been about 10,000 miles since I've had the repairs and I haven't had any problems. I drove my car from Boston to Phoenix and I haven't heard any of the clunking sound that Lenny fixed on my third visit to the Civic Center.

My keys and phone were locked in the car so I couldn’t call AAA. I was at Star market on Mt. auburn street, walking distance from Vahe’s garage. They were very busy, but he sent his assistant to help me. After 15 minutes, we couldn’t get the door unlocked. Then Vahe came out himself and spent more time until he got the door open. He was so kind, and competent, then he wouldn’t let me pay.

Hands down i give this shop the best mechanics in Somerville/ Boston area. I take my car herre when ever there's a problem and they always quote me a fair price and do great work. Also, it's so nice to find an honest mechanic. If you need work done to your car come here. you won't be disappointed.

I took my car to Mikes Auto Repair for new brake pads and rotor replacement because his rputation online, he was helpful on the phone and he quoted what sounded like a fair price. Mike continued to impress with his warm and helpful customer service, putting my car on his lift immediately, showing me everything he saw, and walking me through the alternatives. He was able to get the appropriate parts in ten minutes and get right to work, and he had my car finished in less than three hours. He even took a test ride with me to ensure everything was to my satisfaction.

Fixed a couple of issues with my tranny, 2001 Pontiac Grand AM. My biggest take away was just how nice they were. I never felt like I was being taken advantage and they stayed within their quote even though labor was 5+ hours more than the estimate . If you need work done just call them!! Any work Auto repair too!

Today I used their auto repair shop for service on my car. My stepdad typically does all my mechanical work on my car but, he has since moved to another state so I need to fen for myself. I called Nissan and was quoted $289 for an oil change, tire rotation, oil filter and general check up. I printed out the maintenance sheet for the milage on my car and gave it to the mechanic at Woodside, who had also called Nissan to verify the service requirements for my mileage. When I picked up my car and saw the invoice for $76 I was ecstatic. They fulfilled all the checkpoints on the maintenance sheet from Nissan for a third of the price. Amazing small business service and customer service. Keep the small businesses around and it works out for everyone.

theCARS Company, as mentioned by other reviewers, deserves 5 star ratings across all boards. Service is extremely quick (usually takes a couple hours for normal maintenance; few minutes for an oil change) and fairly priced. They have appointments open constantly and 'reservations' are easy to make. In terms of quality, I have been in there twice--once because my 'check engine' light lit up and the other for the 45,000 mile routine maintenance--and the results couldn't have been better. Problems are discovered quickly and solutions are provided even faster. What sets theCARS Company apart from any other car shop I've been to is their customer care. Point in case: recommending a cheap buff-and-polish job for the many bumps and scratches on my car as opposed to an extremely expensive paint job. Need another example? They offer discounts and coupons constantly. They don't hide them from you. In fact, make sure to politely ask if they have any available and they will respond honestly. Believe me, they've got your back and they're looking to protect your wallet. They seem genuinely interested in your best interest and not on making a quick buck. Very professional, well-organized, and reasonable prices: what else could you ask for?

I wanted to thank the mechanics of Safeway on Atwood avenue in Cranston for their excellent service on my vehicle. My wife and I went in this morning for an oil change and inspection. They went above and beyond with outstanding customer service. They Informed me of preventative maintenance and that my tire pressure was not correct and even corrected the issue. The price was fair and service was excellent. They put plastic in the car and even vacuumed it! I go to Safeway with my company vehicle and my personal vehicle for all repairs/maintenance. I highly recommend Safeway to anyone who cares about their vehicle and want to know that their vehicle will be properly serviced by quality mechanics!

I needed new tires yesterday and Ron was able to get me the best price around by far. Great service and fast turnaround. Car rides great again!
