Last year I brought my car in that would not pass inspection. Other dealers offered me just the parts at rates that were very high. But Peru Tire fixed all of the problems and replaced my bald tires AND did an alignment for a decent price, and I have had no problems since! My check engine light has not turned on since, and car is still running smoothly. And the owner and mechanic are a pleasure to speak to and deal with. I used to LOVE this place and I had been going here for years (since 2004). I believe they have switched managers or owners and now they are SCUM. When my windshield wipers broke they held my car hostage for days till a 'special part' they needed would come in. They kept forgetting to call me back with a quote. Finally, a few days later it started to rain and that was when 'Scott' called me back with a $700.00 quote. I told them to not touch my car and I went to go pick it up. Thank God it stopped raining when I got there. I took it to Pepboys right away. It took them 20 minutes to tighten a part and it cost me under 40 bucks. I tell everyone I can about these idiots.

Replaced my alternator, i was stuck on the side of the road and gideon came and jumped my car and replaced the alternator at an affordable rate, timely manner, and warrantied his work. Highly recommend.

found this shop doing some online research. Small family run shop with attention to detail and very nice mechanic George. After visiting a few shops in wilmington that had mechanics who didnt seem like they cared about the customer, i found georges shop. Great guy, great work, fair prices!!

Went to get a front end alignment on my daughters car. They told me starting at 75.00. Ok. I know it might need parts. I call after not hearing from them and they lost my number. They told me to come down... they then told me the car needed a whole list of things that had nothing to do with alignment coming to $1000.00 so I laughed got in my car and one thing they wrote down is that I needed a right front tire so I called them and asked them where is the front tire is it sitting in car or facing it he said sitting and I told him funny I just had that tire put on a haif hour ago! What a joke so I went somewhere else and had it done for $240.00... awesome! So stay away my daughter gets in her car and the stereo is blaring.

Brought my BMW to be serviced seeing it was running rough and the CBS indicators showed that I needed rear brake liners and a fluid flush. The tech's found the problem and recommended a course of action. They even said that the last dealership I bought the car from did not reset the brake sensor and I did not need pad or liner's. The communication on their progress was great and the price was fair; let's face it, when you opt to buy a BMW you should go into this purchase understanding that these cars need maintenance and the parts for them are not cheap. Gerardo's offers a great alternative to the dealerships and provides service above and beyond them.
