As far as my experience goes, the mechanic team there is the best. Phil has helped out my entire family and the array of issues our cars have had (Acura, Ford, Infiniti). I went in today to see him for the first time, asked for him by name, and he came right out and had me pull my car up to the bay. He then ran some scans based on the issues I told him and laid it all out for me, advised me on a starburst that I recently got on my windshield (and gave me a company he recommended), and a couple of other issues. I basically harassed him with all my questions/concerns and got straightforward, honest advice and it cost me NOTHING. He was a really big help, and one of the other mechanics even came over and gave some input. Did I mention this was at 4:00pm in the center of McLean? Busy time, and they were that helpful.

Great place, I have been going here ever since I moved to the area in 2007. Honest work, good prices.

I recently took my Mercedes to this shop for repair because after owning the car for 12 years, I am tired of the pretentious attitudes and high prices of the dealership service department. API is a great alternative. The people who work at API are familiar with Mercedes cars, have the right tools to service them, and are able to get the right parts. Most importantly, they are friendly and make their customers feel valued. I plan to continue taking my car to API for future service needs!

My Volvo broke down near their station and I had my car towed there for repair. Unfortunately the car was not worth fixing but fortunately I came across a great service station. I've since purchased a used Subaru and have had it there for service and couldn't be happier. Brian Ben and their staff are excellent mechanics and extremely honest. If you are looking for a repair shop don't hesitate to give them a chance you will be very happy. Mark V.

I feel bad that I have to write this unfavorable review, particularly since I used to like this station and had good experiences with respect to minor repair work that was done on my car. However, when they undertook major repair work on my car, and there was a subsequent problem, they failed to take responsibility for their work. I am sure that many people have had positive experiences with this station, unfortunately, I was not one of them. As a result of this experience, we plan to report this station to the Maryland State Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection and the Better Business Bureau.

Wife and I have been customers for many years in one way or another and no complaints at all. Work performed over the years include oil changes, brake pads, brake shoes, rotors, ignition coil replacement, valve cover gasket replacement, radiator replacement, serpentine belt replacement...and no complaints! Not one single complaint! Rob and the mechanics at Airpark Certified Auto Service are top notch! They're reliable, they're honest, they're just a great group of people all around. I have taken several BMWs to Dan over the past 10 years. He is the most honest engineer you will ever find. His prices are reasonable and the quality of work is excellent. Don't bother going to the dealership unless you need a rental car and a cappuccino.

This store conducted an MD Inspection on my car for $70. It manager, Bill, whiling giving me a FREE coffee, recommended a $1600 repair list so that my car can pass. I went to another nearby garage, and my car passed the same inspection for a just minor bulb replacement.

Import Auto Service is fantastic!! I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I started going to Import when I had a 1986 Volvo and needed my air conditioning repaired. I took it the dealer who wanted $2,000 to fix which I did not want to pay for something needed only during the summer. I always do thorough research and Import Auto Service had great reviews from customers and the Better Business Bureau. I decided to take my car to Import - to my amazement, the total cost was $800.00 and included some other services. That was the beginning of a great and long lasting relationship. Import kept my Volvo on the road for many years - I sold the Volvo in 2010 and the new owner still drives it and (on my recommendation) takes it to Import for servicing. Import now services my current Volvo. I trust Import completely - they are honest, ethical and are committed to providing quality service and having satisfied customers. The staff is always very friendly and courteous and the mechanics are experienced and knowledgeable. Import's prices are significantly less than the dealers and they have saved me a lot of dollars over the years. In my experience, the mechanics at this shop are not very thorough. I asked them to check my brakes when I was in for an oil change because the they had not been replaced for quite a while and I figured they might be getting low. They said my brakes looked fine--but several months later a different shop told me (and a third shop confirmed) that the brakes were practically down to nothing and needed to be replaced immediately. I am very lucky that a had a more careful/competent mechanic look at my car, otherwise I would have continued driving around with virtually no brakes--putting myself and everybody else on the road in danger. So I would take anything the mechanics at Falls Church Sunoco tell you with a grain of salt.
