Last time I went, they told me nothing was wrong. Then my uncle took it back two days later and they fixed the problem for him. Today, they tried to tell me again that there wasn't anything wrong with the rear passenger but the drivers side needed a new valve stem, and walked away without telling me if they'd fix any of it. The owner came out and I asked what they were doing and he told me that his brother had already talked to me. I explained the situation with my previous visit and told them that if they weren't going to fix both, that I'd just like my car back and that I didn't want to spend any money there. He told me (and my 1 year old daughter) " I never want to see you again. Get the fuck out" So, I go to leave and see him in the parking lot, and confirm that he is the owner and I said "well that's a real shame" so he called me a bitch and told me to "go wreck" I never raised my voice, or lost my temper and this is how I was treated with my baby in my arms! When my dad called back to tell him he didn't appreciate how I was treated, he informed us that none of our family would ever be allowed there again.
1.0 star rating 7/10/2019 I dropped my 1982 VW off at Hartloves in... read more 1.0 star rating 7/10/2019 I dropped my 1982 VW off at Hartloves in August 23,2017 to have John get the engine running (as it was not running for 7years)if he could and get it roadworthy. After many months he and crew got the car running and contacted me so I went to MVA got tags ,insurance in February 2019. When coming to pick up vehicle the mechanic said he had it on the road doing 80 mph and ran like a top but ran the gas tank empty and the new fuel injection system and filters had to be cleaned and repaired/replaced. i went to the facility and inquired as to why they didn't replace fuel tank,oil filter before road testing and was told by John that NOW the engine is smoking. I chalked up after $1,000 into this that lets just rebuild the engine at my expense,replace gas tank and sending unit April 15,2019.As of now July 10,2019 have tried to contact John to no avail. My wife and I went to his office July 10,2019 where his secretary could not contact him or give us any information as to parts ordered,where the engine is rebuilt,time frame,looking at vehicle engine is out no new gas tank installed at this time, car sitting outside same place. I got prices from $869.00 to $1100.00. I search the internet and found Monunment Street Auto. I called Garry and he quoted $473.00 for a catalytic converter. I could not believe what I was hearing. I left my work place and went to Monument Street Auto. Garry provided me with excellent Customer Service. An employee from the auto center drove me back to my place of work and he pick me up from work when the repair job was done.
