Went there on Oct 16, 2015 for a simple oil change, have already filed with the BBB, car was running fine, told me I needed a qt of transmission fluid, I said fine, the minute I left the car began bucking, that was a Friday, please also note I am a female, on Saturday really didn't drive much as my son took me to PA in his car but when I did in the early am still the same problem, bucking and not shifting appropriately. On Sunday took the car to Walmart, much worse, it actually shut off, check engine light came on, cruise control light came on, had to turn off car, wait, gingerly start back up and ease my way back home. I called my mechanic. He came over. Let's start with the fact that I was 1 1/2 quarts low on oil (2 days after an oil change) and my transmission fluid was bone dry), he put 2 1/2 quarts of transmission fluid in, told me to go to work the next day have the guys pull it in the shop and hook it up to see if it throws any codes and then go over it with a fine tooth comb. See what Charm City didn't know is that I really hate to bother my mechanics for an oil change so I go there, but I've been working with mechanics for 16 years, so they pulled my car in the shop went over it and still had to add another quart of transmission fluid. My certified mechanics have told me that either charm city pulled the transmission plug and drained the tranny fluid or they used a fluid evacuator, when I confronted the owner who took offense to my language and really who wouldn't be pissed, he could have blown up my transmission..he lied, he said a fluid evacuator takes an hours...sorry bud....5 to 8 minutes....his mechanic lied and said he put 6 quarts of oil in my car...first off...why would you put 6 quarts when you only need to put 5 and you didn't put 5...liar...I don't care that you've been in business for 26 years, you saw a female coming in who never uses you for service and you thought you could get some service work from me, so you drained my tranny fluid and then had the gall to ask why I didn't come back, because you are untrustworthy, BEWARE ONE AND ALL. I have 2 certified mechanics that will testify to my story. This place needs to be investigated!!!!

My Volvo broke down near their station and I had my car towed there for repair. Unfortunately the car was not worth fixing but fortunately I came across a great service station. I've since purchased a used Subaru and have had it there for service and couldn't be happier. Brian Ben and their staff are excellent mechanics and extremely honest. I recently took my Mercedes to this shop for repair because after owning the car for 12 years, I am tired of the pretentious attitudes and high prices of the dealership service department. API is a great alternative. The people who work at API are familiar with Mercedes cars, have the right tools to service them, and are able to get the right parts. This is by far the WORST Gas station in all of Baltimore. In my personal opinion, all of Maryland. That being said, Mr. Singh, the owner continues to ensure the highest prices on everything. GAS is 30 cents above 2 other stations less than a mile away. Water and skittles prices would lead you to think you are buying enough to end starvation for a specific city. Mr. Signh also tells his customers that repair orders in his shop are up to the mechanics, however provides the decision to his mechanics. This has also ruined my relationship. If it were not for the outstanding work the mechanics do, i would never return. I can assure you if i spend another penny at this location it will only be for the mechanic work being done.

Great Bunch of Guys !!! They checked my air conditioning for .. FREE .. and added .. FREON. It worked immediately. NO CHARGE .. for the service or FREON !!! Not only are they a .. Full Service Shop .. but .. they do .. Transmission work .. also. I finally found a .. Trustworthy Service Center .. that I can tell my .. Family and Friends about !!! Thanks .. I purchased a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria on November 20, 2014. The vehicle had a few minor issues in a very short time after purchasing regardless of claims of being a good running and driving vehicle that was ready to go as well as being Maryland State inspected on October 27, 2014. The gas tank release button wouldn't work, no biggie, the drivers side door control panel was loose and popped up every time when driving it, ok. Next I realized that the horn wouldn't work (A safety inspection issue), and the windshield wipers weren't working properly (Also a safety inspection issue). Things got worse when I made the long commute home and the car started to make a shaking motion and start to lose horsepower as I'm getting off of the highway. Things got even worse the more that I drove it. I managed to make it to a mechanics shop and they diagnosed it with multiple engine error codes that they stated the dealership was probably aware of before selling but failed to disclose it along with a bunch of other major issues such as bad spark plugs, bad ignition coils, oil leaking into the spark plugs due to a possible cracked manifold. The fluids were far past the point where they were supposed to be changed. The seller stated that he was aware that the fluids. Some of these issues rendered the vehicle undrivable. I was told by the mechanic which works at an honest and reputable shop that I should take it back to where I bought it and get my money back ASAP because the amount of work that needs to be put in would far exceed that of the value of the car. I understand things happen but all of these issues certainly should not happen within the first few of hours of purchasing from a dealer that claimed to have had it Maryland inspected. To make matters worse, when I called the Manager, he stated that he had no intention of fixing the more serious repairs that actually affected the drivability of the vehicle. The manager was beyond rude and had 0 customer service skills and lacked a great deal of professionalism. The owner stated the same. To add insult to injury, I realized after the fact that they charged me at least 300.00 over the suggested kbb retail value. Stay far far away from this dealership at all cost unless you don't mind the headache of being sold a lemon. What a nightmare!
