With all the horror stories you hear about other mechanics, it is refreshing to have such honest and courteous mechanics right in our backyard. Terrible. Took my 99 Isuzu there because the exhaust system had loosened up and needed welding. Got talked into replacing the transmission pressure sensor as well to get rid of the error code. After work was done, the car would idle high and it started shifting hard, also the TPS error was still coming up. I took it back and asked them to fix it. A disgruntled mechanic told me he looked at it and couldn't do anything because the problem was electrical. Took the car to a friends relative who's a trustworthy mechanic. He informed me that they had installed the wrong TPS, which didn't align properly, and they had wired it wrong. It would go to about a 30% throttle at start up, then the voltage would actually decrease as you applied the gas pedal (it's supposed to gradually increase). Now it's been about 2 months, the exhaust weld has completely come undone and my car is loud again. The work they do here is horrible and I have no doubt they cut whatever corners they can. STEER CLEAR! Sunoco 9395 Baltimore National Pike! I took my Honda in to have a diagnostic run on why the engine light was on. I worked a full day and walked back over after work to get a run down on what was wrong. The service guy went through a list of 4 items that needed to be done on the car - 1 was urgent, 3 were not. I went through the list one-by-one with him and confirmed my wish to hold off on the 3 non-urgent items. He confirmed that they would perform the 1 urgent repair, that they had been able to flip the engine light off (no explanation given), and that it would be ready in the morning. I went over to get my car the next day at lunch. The invoice was $572. higher than we had discussed. I immediately asked for an explanation, which seemed to annoy him. It turns out that they had completed one of the non-urgent repairs that I had explicitly said NOT to do. He knew this; he wrote it down when we discussed it. Not only had they done work I told them not to do, but their solution to the situation was for them to keep my car another day and reverse the work they'd done. Because I wouldn't need my car? Seriously. That was as creative of a solution as they could manage. Clearly this particular Sunoco is not interested in retaining long-term customers. I will drive back to my old mechanic now even though he is a half hour away since I moved. I was hoping that I could make a good neighborhood contact. I was wrong. They had my wife in tears. Very sad and terribly uncomfortable transaction

My vehicle has broken down 3 times since I had work done at this shop! They claimed to have fixed the problem yet I just returned from getting Antifreeze to fill my radiator after my lower hose popped off an hour away from home! Thank goodness I was around a mechanic who was kind enough to help me or I would have been up a creek! Stay away if you don't want the hassle. Very Dissatisfied!

We went to Roche Automotive after several of our close friends told us that they were the best in the area for diagnosing and repairing check engine lights. We had been to several other shops in the area and they said the problem was fixed, but the light would return after a couple of days. Brant and Jeff were both very helpful, explained everything very clearly and kept us informed through out the process. The bottom line is they found a small crack in a vacuum hose and repaired it, the light has been off for 3 months and we could not be happier. If we would have come here first, we would have saved over $1000 in unneeded repairs. Needless to say we will definitely be back and would recommend anyone looking for an honest and fair mechanic to try Roche Automotive.

Garry the Manager is the BEST. I check sereral places for a price for a catalytic converter for my 2006 chyrler van. I got prices from $869.00 to $1100.00. I search the internet and found Monunment Street Auto. I called Garry and he quoted $473.00 for a catalytic converter. I could not believe what I was hearing. I left my work place and went to Monument Street Auto. Garry provided me with excellent Customer Service. An employee from the auto center drove me back to my place of work and he pick me up from work when the repair job was done.
