Im honestly surprised that there arent more reviews for this gem! Rodney (the owner) was so kind, professional and helpful. I had gone to Pep Boys who told me I needed $600 dollars in work...after leaving International Auto I only paid $126 (including an oil change!!) Went there as a female and was totally taken advantage of. Engine light on given code told would take 2 days to pinpoint exactly what was wrong because Mercedes are set up that way. They had my car for one week, discussed everything, but Engine light kept displaying engine light. Discussion stating waiting for a different scanner for Mercedes car at the end of the week. $1000 dollars later (motor mounts and everything else) given a Mercedes only Rhine code (same code as if I'm stupid) and told had to go to a Mercedes dealership. AND THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO HAVE A BIG SIGN THAT SAYS HONESTY IS EVERYTHING. Just wanted my money even though they knew from the beginning they couldn't help me. ONLY GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

Import Auto Service is fantastic!! I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I started going to Import when I had a 1986 Volvo and needed my air conditioning repaired. I took it the dealer who wanted $2,000 to fix which I did not want to pay for something needed only during the summer. I always do thorough research and Import Auto Service had great reviews from customers and the Better Business Bureau. I decided to take my car to Import - to my amazement, the total cost was $800.00 and included some other services. That was the beginning of a great and long lasting relationship. Import kept my Volvo on the road for many years - I sold the Volvo in 2010 and the new owner still drives it and (on my recommendation) takes it to Import for servicing. Import now services my current Volvo. I trust Import completely - they are honest, ethical and are committed to providing quality service and having satisfied customers. The staff is always very friendly and courteous and the mechanics are experienced and knowledgeable. Import's prices are significantly less than the dealers and they have saved me a lot of dollars over the years. As far as my experience goes, the mechanic team there is the best. Phil has helped out my entire family and the array of issues our cars have had (Acura, Ford, Infiniti). I went in today to see him for the first time, asked for him by name, and he came right out and had me pull my car up to the bay. He then ran some scans based on the issues I told him and laid it all out for me, advised me on a starburst that I recently got on my windshield (and gave me a company he recommended), and a couple of other issues. I basically harassed him with all my questions/concerns and got straightforward, honest advice and it cost me NOTHING. He was a really big help, and one of the other mechanics even came over and gave some input. Did I mention this was at 4:00pm in the center of McLean? Busy time, and they were that helpful.

This place was impressive! Clean shop, free coffee, wood floors!! They only charged me $899.45 for the rear main seal on my 2003 Lexus Rx300. The dealer had quoted me $1750! The owner, Jeff told me that he had been working for Lexus for 13 years, he even took care of my idle problem when he did the seal. I mentioned it to him and he knew exactly what it was. Love this place!! will be back

I've been going to Marv & Mikes for over 20 years. I have never been disappointed. When I married, my husband was a "dealership " person. He finally became frustrated with prices and poor service. I'm glad to be back to using Marv & Mike. They never fail me.

Mr. Kim is "the man." I took my 1989 Jeep YJ for extensive work, including removing a bolt-broken exhaust manifold for gasket replacement, chasing vacuum leaks, diagnosing "death wobble" due to a faulty sway bar link, and a handful of other things. I got the vehicle back in spectacular condition. His estimate was spot on (even said he didn't feel comfortable charging me for something because it'd put me over the original estimate), the service was performed perfectly, and in a timely fashion. He's also incredibly kind and honest from what I can tell. In fact, I overheard a telephone conversation, the content of which I won't disclose out of privacy respect, but the conversation reinforced my belief that he is a very honest businessperson. I've recommended the shop to other local patrons and will be taking the YJ back there for routine maintenance as well as any (*knock on wood*) repairs. I recommend Skyline without hesitation.

I recently took my Mercedes to this shop for repair because after owning the car for 12 years, I am tired of the pretentious attitudes and high prices of the dealership service department. API is a great alternative. The people who work at API are familiar with Mercedes cars, have the right tools to service them, and are able to get the right parts. Most importantly, they are friendly and make their customers feel valued. I plan to continue taking my car to API for future service needs!

My Volvo broke down near their station and I had my car towed there for repair. Unfortunately the car was not worth fixing but fortunately I came across a great service station. I've since purchased a used Subaru and have had it there for service and couldn't be happier. Brian Ben and their staff are excellent mechanics and extremely honest. If you are looking for a repair shop don't hesitate to give them a chance you will be very happy. Mark V.
