I have been taking my Honda and Lexus to Freestate for over 3 years. They are helpful in letting me know what is wrong with my vehicle and what could wait until the next service. The prices are not as high as a dealer but also not as low as say a side lot garage. I do feel confident that they are doing a good job and trust their opinion.

I took it the dealer who wanted $2,000 to fix which I did not want to pay for something needed only during the summer. Hall's is my first stop when I have issues with my wife's mid-size SUV or my full-size truck. They've always been up-front and honest with me. If they can do the work, they will quote me a price and let me know if they find anything else and wait for my approval. If they cannot do the work, they let me know and have not charged for the time they took reviewing the car's issue. It would be nice to have a Jiffy Lube type oil change service, but the quality of work is worth dropping the car off and picking it up when it's ready. (I know, how can you screw-up an oil change --- one shop left a wrench connected to my wife's car that Hall's mechanics found. Others have left a pool of oil that started to smoke, which Hall's mechanics helped clean-up. [Unfortunately, neither of those were things that I did as a clueless dolt, but were for oil changes that I paid for at national chains....].)

Im honestly surprised that there arent more reviews for this gem! Rodney (the owner) was so kind, professional and helpful. I had gone to Pep Boys who told me I needed $600 dollars in work...after leaving International Auto I only paid $126 (including an oil change!!) Went there as a female and was totally taken advantage of. Engine light on given code told would take 2 days to pinpoint exactly what was wrong because Mercedes are set up that way. They had my car for one week, discussed everything, but Engine light kept displaying engine light. Discussion stating waiting for a different scanner for Mercedes car at the end of the week. $1000 dollars later (motor mounts and everything else) given a Mercedes only Rhine code (same code as if I'm stupid) and told had to go to a Mercedes dealership. AND THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO HAVE A BIG SIGN THAT SAYS HONESTY IS EVERYTHING. Just wanted my money even though they knew from the beginning they couldn't help me. ONLY GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.
