I admit that I was a little skeptical at first about taking the route of a remanufactured motor over a new vehicle due to the poor service and broken promises that many service providers give today. However Larry you did right by us. Not only did we get 1 reman but we got 2 which saved us a lot of money as opposed to the route of brand new vehicles. We have used this Muffler man in the past and came back because they were great to us back then. They were just as great today. My mom's car broke down on Sunday and the manager Bill helped fix her car even though they were closed. Since they were closed, he didn't charge her a thing! I called up today to offer to pay for the service and they said it's what they do for their customers! Luckily Bill had been in the store working on a project that day. No one else in the area was open and she was stranded. If you are in the area and need car repair I suggest going to people who actually care!

I just had Michigan Motor Exchange put a remanufactured engine into my 1998 Bravada. So far everything is running great. No one including myself wants to spend money on an older SUV but it turns out that it was cheaper than buying a new or used car with higher miles. So, for a few thousand bucks, I have a SUV that my 16 year old can drive. Looks good and runs great. David was very helpful in the process and straight forward about the costs. He gave me a competitive quote for the engine and after evaluating what else the truck needed...It was my decision....no pressure. It made sense to invest a bit more to address other non-engine related issues. I had my truck back in just over a week. I was referred to Michigan Motor Exchange by another automotive shop. I am happy with my experience.

I have been going to guys for all kinds auto repairs for at least six years, I have also referred so many of my friends and family to them. To my greatest surprise and shock, I just found out that they are frauds, cheats and liars and have deceived my family and friends that I have over the years sent to them. I sent a vehicle to them for repair this month, Sam, one of the owners called me back and said it was going to cost $2200.00 parts and labor. I was taken aback at that quote. I would have agreed, but something in me this time said NO!. I went back the next day and picked up my car from them and gave it to another mechanic that I hardly knew. They charged me $900.00 with the same parts and labor including two brand new tires. Please be careful with these guys, they fooled me for years. Always seek for a second opinion.
