My experience here was awful. I really think I deserve my 70.00 exam back! They gave me two estimates, one for complete muffler replacement for over 1,600 one for over 500.00. I declined the work for second opinion. I’m so glad I did! Muffler Man in Clio inspected my car for free found one part needed, replaced it right then, and here’s the kicker, it cost me 230.00!

I have been an auto mechanic for the past 40 years. My recent surgery prevented me from replacing a much needed CV joint axle, they quoted me the labor costs up front and accommodated me even on a busy Saturday.The CV axle I needed was impossible to find yet they took time off their busy schedule to check availability. They worked with me till the part was finally located. They may not be the largest newest repair shop in town but the personalized service and experience makes the difference. They are the most honest and approachable auto repair shop I have dealt with, their prices are very competitive and they won't try and sell you on unnecessary repairs. They are the only shop I trust when I am unable to complete the repairs myself. I recommend they highly.

One of the greatest things about him is he shares his knowledge and helps other technicians/mechanics in the area with their automotive challenges. To me, that says a lot about his character. I just had Michigan Motor Exchange put a remanufactured engine into my 1998 Bravada. So far everything is running great. No one including myself wants to spend money on an older SUV but it turns out that it was cheaper than buying a new or used car with higher miles. So, for a few thousand bucks, I have a SUV that my 16 year old can drive. Looks good and runs great. David was very helpful in the process and straight forward about the costs. He gave me a competitive quote for the engine and after evaluating what else the truck needed...It was my decision....no pressure. It made sense to invest a bit more to address other non-engine related issues. I had my truck back in just over a week. I was referred to Michigan Motor Exchange by another automotive shop. I am happy with my experience.

My mom's car broke down on Sunday and the manager Bill helped fix her car even though they were closed. Since they were closed, he didn't charge her a thing! I called up today to offer to pay for the service and they said it's what they do for their customers! Luckily Bill had been in the store working on a project that day. No one else in the area was open and she was stranded. If you are in the area and need car repair I suggest going to people who actually care!

We have used this Muffler man in the past and came back because they were great to us back then. They were just as great today. I will continue to bring all my vehicles for service here and will recommend to all my friends and family. They are reasonable in prices and they do not try to upsell any un necessary

Well guys, you've done it again. I brought my truck in for a fuel pump and blower motor replacement. The work was done ahead of schedule and with the attention to detail you would expect from a much pricier shop.
