Our business started in 1945 as Pezzani & Reid Equipment Company, founded by Pete Pezzani, with extensive experience in trailer parts, and Emerson Reid, an engineer who designed specialty trailers. The company has long since been recognized as the innovator and designer of specialty trailers. The first 8-axle trailers were introduced to the Michigan market as a Pezzani & Reid Design/Specification.
