The company van was running poor and due for a tune up, by the noise in the lifters I knew we had more than one issue. They diagnosed the problem and replaced the fuel injector and a tune up and were were on our way. The van runs like the wind. Thanks Cliff, great job

A few months ago the shop owner contacted me directly and was very apologetic, polite, understanding. We spoke about my experience & he remained very professional. I was impressed that he reached out and eliminated my worry. I will definitely return as they are a reputable business who clearly values their clientele.

Took my car to GLA at the referral of a close friend because my brakes lost all power. I had known for about two months that I had a small leak in my front passenger side brake line, being the son of a former mechanic I had bought parts and planned on doing the work myself. However, weather and timing were not on my side. Took my car in and Matt and John took a look at it and found that my master cylinder had also went bad. They replaced the cylinder and found that I was right about the leak in the front passenger line, however Matt was pretty sure that the increased pressure from the new cylinder caused the leak. They replaced the line as well and now my car stops better than when I bought it. They did it at a reasonable price too, because I know that the same job at a dealership could have been $900-1000. I'll definitely be seeing them in the future.

Best place ever to get car repairs done! Paul is an absolute gem! My car needed plenty of work but not once did I feel pressured to have any of it done. Paul was honest about what was most important (not the most expensive) and ultimately did 90% of the work in 1 day for a very reasonable price. Well guys, you've done it again. I brought my truck in for a fuel pump and blower motor replacement. The work was done ahead of schedule and with the attention to detail you would expect from a much pricier shop. I just had Michigan Motor Exchange put a remanufactured engine into my 1998 Bravada. So far everything is running great. No one including myself wants to spend money on an older SUV but it turns out that it was cheaper than buying a new or used car with higher miles. So, for a few thousand bucks, I have a SUV that my 16 year old can drive. Looks good and runs great. David was very helpful in the process and straight forward about the costs. He gave me a competitive quote for the engine and after evaluating what else the truck needed...It was my decision....no pressure. It made sense to invest a bit more to address other non-engine related issues. I had my truck back in just over a week. I was referred to Michigan Motor Exchange by another automotive shop. I am happy with my experience.
