I had this company Raytown Transmission, replace the transmission in my 2006 Mercury Mariner in Late Dec of 2012. Now 5 months later it does not seem to be functioning right. I called Benny and explained and he asked that i bring it in so they can take a look. Benny was very courteous on our phone call. I will be sure and update my review after they look into this for me. These people replaced my daughters engine total cost $1400.00. A week later we had to take it back because of a bad oil leak. It was the main rear seal. $20 part but $350 in labor because they had to drop the engine again. I asked why they wouldn't automatically replace a $20 seal in a 2002 engine while the engine was dropped and their response was well it's under warranty so you can file a claim with the person you bought the engine from to get reimbursed. So I did and guess what?? Claim denied because they said replacing the main rear seal when replacing an engine is considered routine maintenance and should've been checked and replaced at the time of the engine replacement.

Traveling form another state for the Holidays I needed to get tires before return. After install when driving the car made a noise and vibrated-I was short on time and New Years was coming so I took my car back first thing the next morning. I was told that the bearings were bad and tie rod like an additional $800.00! I had them do the work the parts were $250.00 and if I had the time I would have done myself. When I picked up the car it made the same noise I took part they put it up o;n the lift and all that was original wrong was a $12.50 pin!!!! They did not offer to give any of my money back! I would not do Business with them again for anything!
