It's a real blessing these days to find an auto shop and mechanics who you can trust. Cabarrus Imports is just such a place. I have been taking my Honda there for several years and know that they will do only what is needed, will tell me when I do need something, and then they will do the work well at a fair price. On my last oil change, they noticed a dripping water pump - a sure sign of impending failure at its age - and I was able to get a new pump put in along with the timing belt at a fair price, prior to being stranded on the side of the road. After waiting for a month to get a part replaced and not hearing anything back from the mechanic, I told him to release my car and I would have a different person do the two hour job. It's a two hour job that I waited for a month to be done, and he's ignoring my phone calls the entire time. I ended up having to file a complaint with the Attorney General JUST to get a response from him, and after that, he came up with one excuse after another as to why he couldn't give me my own car. This mechanic is dishonest, exploitative and irresponsible and should not be used by anyone!
