I have used Windham Mobile for years, approaching 18 now, and keep coming back. Doug and his crew always do an excellent job working on three separate cars and one pickup over those years. I do my own oil changes and spark plug replacements, but more involved work like surpentine belts, tranny and radiator fluid changes and the occasional real problem with a vehicle, I leave to them knowing the work will be done well and at reasonable, not cheap, but reasonable rates. Sometimes, I ask for the old parts, and when I do, they are there for me to look at and keep if I want. I have never been disappointed. I am writing this review because I need to have my tires changed over to snows for the winter, looked their number up on the internet to give them a call, came across the reviews, and figured I should throw in my two cents. Joe is great. He really takes the time to go through the whole vehicle. He is not cheap, but he is definitely less expensive than the dealerships are cause it's just him! As a woman, I highly recommend Joe to other women.

My son had a classic Chevy Caprice that had mechanical difficulties the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Cheshire Tire referred us to a local shop that could work on this older vehicle. I am very grateful to Cheshire Tire for the referral because my son was able to make the 6 hour drive back to upstate New York safely.

found this shop doing some online research. Small family run shop with attention to detail and very nice mechanic George. After visiting a few shops in wilmington that had mechanics who didnt seem like they cared about the customer, i found georges shop. Great guy, great work, fair prices!!

Went to get a front end alignment on my daughters car. They told me starting at 75.00. Ok. I know it might need parts. I call after not hearing from them and they lost my number. They told me to come down... they then told me the car needed a whole list of things that had nothing to do with alignment coming to $1000.00 so I laughed got in my car and one thing they wrote down is that I needed a right front tire so I called them and asked them where is the front tire is it sitting in car or facing it he said sitting and I told him funny I just had that tire put on a haif hour ago! What a joke so I went somewhere else and had it done for $240.00... awesome! So stay away my daughter gets in her car and the stereo is blaring.

I've known and used John as my mechanic for years. I've always known him to be honest and very thorough with his work. He has finally bought his own garage. His team over at Import Domestic is top notch. I've recommended him to all my friends. Thanks for the great service John.

Been using the shop since 2009 for anything from oil change to radiator and exhaust replacement. Very fast and professional service. Even without appointment Steve was always able to squeeze me in and get my truck back on the road fast.

Julie Hobbs and her father are by far the nastiest people I have ever had the misfortune to meet. They sell junk auction cars at ridicules prices and then become accusatory and down right rude when they are expected to do repairs. The first issue was preventing us from getting a sticker,that forced them make repairs. Their mechanic is quite efficient and pleasant, he really needs to leave there before he is tainted by their fraud. If you are willing to pay for major repairs yourself, as many other posters have I am sure you will get a great car. I personally had transmission problems, a broken frame, engine skipping, and power loss with in weeks of purchase. I then got yelled at and abused by them when I wanted repairs. Stay away for Hobbs.

I found Paul through a recommendation of a friend. As a loyal BMW owner for many years, and one who babies my car and want to make sure it's got the best care, I was really happy to find Paul. He is not only a BMW owner, but knows these cars inside and out. I had a heating system issue, we spoke about it over the phone twice, he ordered more parts than needed so when I brought it in he had the correct part (regulator) on him and fixed it within an hour. He simply returned the part that was not needed. I was able to get work done in the waiting room (with wifi) and when I recently had another issue (cracked rim), he quickly diagnosed the problem too. It's great to find a mechanic I can trust AND who is reasonable (I priced him about against another non-dealer BMW mechanic and he was a bit cheaper!). Thanks Paul for your help and care. When my car is in need of service again I'll certainly be back!
