Julie Hobbs and her father are by far the nastiest people I have ever had the misfortune to meet. They sell junk auction cars at ridicules prices and then become accusatory and down right rude when they are expected to do repairs. The first issue was preventing us from getting a sticker,that forced them make repairs. Their mechanic is quite efficient and pleasant, he really needs to leave there before he is tainted by their fraud. If you are willing to pay for major repairs yourself, as many other posters have I am sure you will get a great car. I personally had transmission problems, a broken frame, engine skipping, and power loss with in weeks of purchase. I then got yelled at and abused by them when I wanted repairs. Stay away for Hobbs.

Dave and Chip are wonderful professionals who really care about you and your car. They know Audi's and BMW's inside out and are committed to doing the best job possible. They also take extra time to make sure you understand what is needed and why. I recently had to have my car towed because of a check engine light and, what we thought to be a low oil pressure light. Both Dave and Chip spent hours going over the car trying to diagnose the problem and talking to my husband and myself. It turned out to be nothing serious and I was charged the Diagnostic fee only. I have since taken it back for service and couldn't be happier. They charge a fair price for great work. As an Audi owner for many years I have found that many mechanics really don't know how to work on my car or misdiagnose issues. This will not happen with Village European. Yesterday, I had one of those very pleasant surprises. A pay it forward gesture on the part of Precision Import, an upscale foreign and domestic auto repair company. My Jag suffers from annoying engine fault light notice. Richard (Dick) and Patrick Horan could not fix it without the right diagnostic software BUT were kind enough to coach me on a couple of related car matters. I appreciated them sizing up the current problem without any expense and reviewing other pending matters about the car’s near term repair requirements. With a Jag they say you need to have two, one for the garage and one to drive while the other is in there. In any case, I have found Patrick and his team diligent and trustworthy on two occasions. Better still I was able to get some work done as they graciously let me use their board room and guest wireless. How many garages do you know of with a board room, wireless and the good sense to not nickel and dime you for exploratory stuff? I’ll be back.
