This is best auto repair shop I found in the area in terms of honesty and price and service! My break were changed quickly and efficiently, I highly recommend this shop and will use them for my needs from now on. And to top it off I got great snacks to take with me!

I used to fix my car in Bill Deihls shop. He was very honest person then I moved to NY,SC & Texas states. Until now I couldn't find an honest mechanic shop tells you exactly what is the car needs with a reasonable price.

This is the worse place ever. They lost my car keys, my car wasn't aligned despite being told it was, the nuts weren't tightened on my tires, the owner Sal or at least I think he said he was and his wife are rude and seemed to not be on good terms so the customer service is horrible. Worse experience ever!! Don't take your car there...I even saw the owner looking at a teen inappropriately! Shame on you Sal!

Made my day! With 3 kids I have no extra time or $ to spare. My car wouldn t start and I had get to work. I called around and was told I should try to get a jump. No one was available and I was stuck. I called T.C. Tire & Auto and the mechanic came to my house jump started my car. He checked out my car and told me I needed a battery. The whole process from call to repair was an hour! The price was explained honestly and fair. I am more than happy and thankful.

I was very happy yo find out that they work on Europen cars. I have a 2000 Saab that had a blown turbo and Alex was able to find me the best price around and I have had no problem with the turbo ever since. He's very experienced and honest mechanic and I will bring all my cars to him. I will defintely refer him to all my friends and family! American Tire located at 3699 Eberhart Rd, Whitehall, Pa is a dishonest shop who doesn't stand by their mistakes. I brought my car in for a flat repair and ended up waiting over two hours since they don't take appointments. It is what it is but what happened next has me infuriated. I don't write reviews but this warning needs to be posted. I specifically told them that the vehicle has a passengers side flat. They informed me that they didn't find anything in the left side but took the right tire off out of curiosity and found the flat. They then informed me that my wheel studs were stripped and that they would fix it for a fee. I said they can't possibly be stripped because they were hand threaded on. Upon inspection the threads were found to be stripped going on. It is impossible to strip threads in the wrong direction. They had no business or permission to even remove this tire. The owners attitude and demeanor is enough to tell everyone I know to go somewhere else. Pep Boys stripped the front studs during a tire rotation but had the integrity to replace them free of charge. Beware of this shop as their low prices could lead to costly repairs because of their negligence. Stay clear and go to a shop who will get the job done right and stand by their work.
