Retail tire service near Lodi, NJ

Went there for state inspection. They told me that my car needs front break pads. I was surprised because day before I went to my dealer for oil change and state inspection, which they could not do because of their broken machine and they did mention that my car needed break pads after courtesy meticulous inspection. Dealer’s multipoint inspection sheet indicated that my break pads are less than half way through. I guess it is dealer’s word against Midas’s word. But I’m sure dealer would not pass on this job if my car needed pads and release me in unsafe vehicle. Not wanting to pay for failed state inspection, I went with replacement. Midas charged me $99.99 for Centric ceramic front pads only! + $106 for labor. I think I got the DEAL OF a LIFETIME here as such break pads cost no more than $30 all over the internet. I still could have done good mileage on these break pads. Rip off and scam. Will not go there again!

They are amazing mechanics. I don't think anyone can ever match their experience. They hear one awkward sound from my car and they automatically know what is wrong with it without even opening it yet. And it's all done at reasonable price as well. Ask for Albert. He's the best.

L & J Motors is the only auto repair shop in Jersey that has worked on my Bimmer since bringing it over from California. I'm very picky in regards to who works on my cars, but I find this place--like another reviewer--to be reliable and honest in their services. After my experience here, I would certainly recommend this auto repair shop to other European vehicle owners.

Their pricing is very reasonable and they are very straightforward about the repairs. Unlike the dealers they don't try and up sell you on additional repairs that might not be needed. This place is the worst. Aside from rude employees that hate their jobs and the shoddy work they do, they pressure you into purchasing warranties that they will never honor. If you spend any money here you are a fool!
