Honda service near Metuchen, NJ

L & J Motors is the only auto repair shop in Jersey that has worked on my Bimmer since bringing it over from California. I'm very picky in regards to who works on my cars, but I find this place--like another reviewer--to be reliable and honest in their services. After my experience here, I would certainly recommend this auto repair shop to other European vehicle owners.

They are amazing mechanics. I don't think anyone can ever match their experience. They hear one awkward sound from my car and they automatically know what is wrong with it without even opening it yet. And it's all done at reasonable price as well. Ask for Albert. He's the best.

These guys know what they are doing. On time service and affordable care for your auto, they went out of their way to make sure my issues were resolved. They balanced/aligned my ride better than any dealer will tell you they can do. They know how to service all makes and models, it is worth the trip even if you are not from the Monroe area. I am from out of town and my thermostat went out. I needed someplace close to where I was staying and a fair price. I called 3 different auto repair shops. One chose not to call back, the second quoted me $171 and acted like I, as a woman didn't know that the gasket comes with the thermostat when you purchase a replacement and that was part of the charge, Desi quoted me a good fair price and said they could fix it immediately, I took it in the next morning and they got right to it. After an hour and a half I called to see how long it would be and was told it was taking longer than they thought because the alternator and other parts needed removed, I knew this and that is why we were taking it to a shop, no place to work on a project like that when in a hotel. I figured the price would go up because of more labor. We went and did some other things and picked the car up just before the 6pm closing. They did not raise the price and the car is fixed and great. Good people trying to earn an honest living for an honest days work. Give them a call!

This station is awesome! Chris, the manager, is one of the best managers of a service station I have ever experienced. He is consistent, helpful, attentive,honest and treats everyone equally. He does not try and sell you what you don't need and backs up all his work. This place is definitely one of or the best service station in the area. Hats off to the owner for having a great employee like Chris!!!

Best palce to go for an oil change. In and out very fast. Friendly employees and clean shop.

What an outstanding, ideal, model mechanic and business! After much research and speaking with several mechanics and repair techs, I found Walko Automotive to be the best solution to my bad hybrid battery. They offered a two year warranty and with their already outstanding business history, Master Tech certifications with hybrid vehicles (and any vehicle really), and a positive, family-oriented atmosphere, they were sure to deliver in every way you would expect the best and most trustworthy mechanic should.
