I have gone to Mufflex the last couple of years. Typically I do not write reviews, but basically whatever they qoute you in price it will be quite a bit more, almost double at least on labor charges. Sometimes it is understandable if the job will take longer than originally estimated but they will not call you to tell you.

This is the best mechanic shop I have been to. They are kind, helpful, and reasonable. They always try to fit me in for last minute oil changes and honor my coupons even when I forget to bring them. What you see is what you get, I love that.

I have lived in this area for about six years and have tried as many mechanics. After searching for several years I stumbled upon AAMCO and more importantly Jerry the owner of this franchise. I only went here because of a Supersaver Discount I bought for here but I have remained long after it has been gone. Jerry is one of the few honest, down to earth mechanics left in the business. He tells you when things need to be replaced and when they can be stretched out, he really cares about his customers and his workers. His prices are more than fair and when I had my AC fixed and it stopped working I brought it in and he fixed within 24 hours. He stands behind his work and is a man of integrity anyone who comes here will be pleased with the work you get done!

Too bad I cannot rate them with 0 stars as 1 is way too much. took my car for an oil change and found an oil piddle under my car the next day. the car is 3 years old and never leaked. took the car to the authorized dealer and they told me that "who ever performed my previous oil change did not do it right". in addition, it did not feel good when they tried to sell me all these unnecessary things including the break system flush after it was done 6 months ago. don't take your car there. they cannot do a simple job as an oil change right, but they will try to sell you everything you don't need.

These guys know what they are doing. On time service and affordable care for your auto, they went out of their way to make sure my issues were resolved. They balanced/aligned my ride better than any dealer will tell you they can do. They know how to service all makes and models, it is worth the trip even if you are not from the Monroe area. Bunch of crooks-had car towed by them figured I'd give them a chance to fix it-HUGE mistake-quotes me 380 on phone I go pick up car it's 602! course no proof so I can't fight it then my tacklebox that I keep in back of SUV goes missing-amazing how hard it is to find an honest mechanic-no honesty here-do yourself a favor and avoid this place
