I was looking on yelp for a good mechanic in Ridgewood and came across a recommendation that I was impressed with and decided to give the shop a try. I was so impressed with the cleaniness of the place (they are usually very dirty) and the knowledge the mechanic had, that I felt comfortable leaving my Chevrolet Truck there. I needed an inspection and once I started to explain a strange noise in my truck, Ken, the owner of the shop, told me I needed brakes. I had him do the job. I was happy with the repairs he made. My truck never felt this good. His prices are fair and I am glad to say I will be coming back and recommending him to everyone I know who needs a good mechanic.

The first review was taken off this website for an unknown reason. The owner Edgar Sanchez Jr. is untruthful about the estimates he's writes, complains about not being able to work on my car because I have wheel spacers on it which his mechanics end up damaging and could not remove and which ended with my car being driven away by a stranger and items from my glovebox being stolen. Police forced him to let me inspect the car before paying his crazy repair bill which is when I found valuables missing from my car.

my car was sideswiped and even though there was not much damage it looked ugly. Took it to Barrys and they did an awesome job!!! Very satisfied. Car looks great. Thank you Barry's Auto Body!!!

My Son highly recommended Laub’s Auto Body. He had his car repaired by Laubs in 2004. My son assured me that I wouldn’t be disappointed because they do amazing work. I went down to Laubs and meant with Kevin. He checked the car and agreed to make the repairs. Joe, Anthony and Roger and the staff are the best. They talk to you like a person. I've been to many shops over the years and these guys are knowledgeable, experts , fair, patient, trustworthy and best of all treat you with the utmost respect and tell you exactly what's going on with your car in a way that you understand fully. Just pulled in to ask about a service for my vehicle. Great news, the staff is all well fed. They were all sitting around in the break room just behind the front counter. I walked in, said hi and waited for a reply. The men - about 5 - just kept shoveling food into their mouths and stared at me. Odd, so I waited a moment. Then asked if there is anyone who can help me. They all - and I mean ALL - averted their eyes and went for another forkful. "Soooooo, should I just wait guys?" Another forkful. "Should I just go then," I asked. Finally got an answer. One guy took the time between stuffing his face to shrug at me. I laughed and left. Great place. Can't wait for the failures who run it like this to sell it to someone who might care. I certainly wouldn't want people with that level of pride or care working on my car. So many options with people who don't suck. Go elsewhere. Life its too short to wait for lunch break to end for basic human respect.

Dishonest! I'd beware of this place, SERIOUSLY. Says repairs need to be done that are not necessary. Charges for repairs that are not made! Stay away if you're smart! EVEN THE BBB SAYS SO! I found Ten Point Auto, just down the road, to be much better. Honest & quality work. I learned the hard way. If I was smart if have done some research. There are bad reviews all over the web! Google, Yellow Pages, just do a search and you will see.
