Mufflers repair service near North Las Vegas, NV

I lost my time Today by going to Midas. I had an appointment and after one hour and a half, they said that they cannot work on my car, not even sure they will the day after. I won't go back to that repair shop.

I came in with air conditioning issues, when I turned it on it overheated my engine. I completely explained this to the guy at the counter. Somehow according to the mechanic this information was not relayed correctly. So the mechanic tells me I need a part replaced. And that it will most likely solve the issue. So I agree. I sat for 5 hours in the waiting room, while watching this mechanic smoke cigars, and goof off talking to coworkers. When he finally replaced the part I watched him, he actually told me he was still learning and had not went to school for auto mechanics but his father taught him about cars. When finally done I left. I got two miles away any my engine ran completely hot. I called them and they said to come back. I came back, the mechanic met me outside, I popped the hood and coolant was spewing out of the part he installed. I said what is that? Didn't you just install that? He says yea I did but I don't know why its doing that.. So they pull it around to the back, and I sit in the waiting area again. I went to see what was wrong, he was removing the part. He said it was a faulty part and that they were ordering another. He also told me he used pieces of the old part combined with the new part when he installed it. Which I'm sure is not correct. So I waited for the new part to arrive. Hours later near closing time, they install the new part they said was from the dealer. I left. Got about two miles away and my engine overheated yet again. I called and the person who answered said to bring it back in the morning. So I did. I sat another 5 hours on a second day for them to finally tell me that was not the problem. And that the actual problem will require another part to be installed and keep in mind I had already paid them 377$. The guy then tells me it will cost me another 220$ to actually fix my problem. And that he says it was at a discount. So currently I still have the same problem I came with and am out of 377$ and do not have another 270$ to pay for their mistake. I spent a total of 14 hours at this location. To leave with the same problem and paid money for something completely different than what I came for.. The worst auto mechanic experience I've ever had

After having some not so good experiences at a few Jiffy Lube locations to do my oil changes I'm so glad I found Meineke! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable I always feel like they have my best interest in mind and not trying to sell me things I don't need. Meineke always has mailer coupons in the RJ magazine for oil changes, I usually can't take advantage on those because my car uses synthetic but I always walk away happy and feel like I'm in good hands!

Last week my water pump started to leak so I was looking for a reliable shop in my area. I spent a few hours on the net checking out many shops and finally decided on R&M. Glad I did, they replaced the water pump and had my Jeep ready for me in just a few hours at a very fair price. (week later no leaks) The thing that impressed me was they did not try to upsell me for other repairs like belts or hoses which they informed me they checked. Future repairs will be done by R&M. Thanks guys ......Erle

This guy knowingly stole my money and others as well. One of his cars is at Findlay Customs and it just came back from sandblasting the body...... wow what a horrible job, can you say lots of body filler on a 68 Chevelle?
