Was told the price for the alternator was $600+. When I questioned John the mechanic about the price and told him a new one on Atlantic British was $290, he told me their shop won't compete with on-line discount part supplier. On top of that, 5 hours for labor at $500. If anyone knows Disco's, replacing the alternator is the most accessible part on the engine. So disappointed in the quote, I paid $125 for the diagnosis and towed my car to another mechanic. These guys are despicable. Avoid at all cost.

This business is family run and you can tell because Lee and John were very helpful throughout the whole process. In addition, the mechanic Rick who worked on my car, came out when my car was done and told me exactly what he did to my BMW so that I could understand my car that much better. First class service all the way along with quality work too. They clearly take the time to make sure you get your money's worth.

I had to get new tires, shocks, struts, brakes and all my normal routine maintenance. they are very reasonable people to work with and the prices are great, one of the most reasonable garages in town. I would recommend these people to anybody. I'm not sure if the lady that gave a bad review is completely competent because this is truly one of the best garages in town with the quality of service they perform and the prices of the services. I know for a fact that they give you a 6 month warranty on engine repairs after that its on your part just like with everything else you buy, in 14 months there is no telling what all you as the driver has done to your vehicle. My question is have you done normal routine maintenance to help keep the car running. what kind of engine did you buy new or used? If it is a new one then they usually have a even better warranty on them, if you bought a used engine well then thats a chance on you are taking on your part.
