Power window repair service near Mount Angel, OR

I first brought my car into Nick's a few years ago. Got an excellent assessment and had about 1k estimate in suggested repairs. I could not afford this at the time so I did not fix all of the suggestions. And I never came around to it, until recently last week when I sent my car back in. I was expecting the same suggestions as last time, and probably even more. Though during this latest assessment, two of the issues from last time were not found. So I'm concerned that this newer assessment was not as thorough or the mechanic was not as experienced as the last one. This is disappointing, because I was interested in getting them all fixed. Secondly, the communication was just sub-par. When I dropped off my car I was told I would probably receive a text in the next 2 hours about what repairs need to be done. Four hours later I call because I have not received anything. They say that I will be emailed very soon. Nothing for another two hours. I call and they are surprised I didn't receive the email, but then it was sent promptly. They say the repairs can be done by the end of the day or maybe first thing in the morning. The morning came around and I didn't get a call or anything. I call around noon and they are just getting to my car. I end up getting my car around 3pm. I did not expect my car to be gone for a day and a half just for a steering fluid change. I understand if things get pushed back, which is expected with staff shortages and modern issues since 2020, but I just wish the communication was better. The whole time I felt like I was given the impression that my car would be done very soon, but it was pushed back and back without me being told, I had to call and ask. Lastly, I got a text message asking how my experience went. In short I mentioned some of what I mentioned in this review, and I didn't receive any response at all. So again with the communication issues. I will say that I do trust this shop and the folks that I communicated directly with were exceptionally nice and welcoming, but there are definitely things to work on.

Great service, they do the best to get you a great deal. They don't pressure you to buy a car like other dealers might. They want you to be comfortable and happy with your purchase.. From the standpoint of mechanical skill and expertise Doug has always provided great service. Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, he has always dealt fairly with me when there were differences re: the final cost of a job. Our car broke down on I-5 by Salem, OR and AAA agent has suggested this shop to take our car to. Great experience overall: staff is friendly and helpful (they offered us a ride to place we could eat at while waiting), quality of repair, timing (we were super lucky they had part for our car in the shop), and in fact we had liked Salem as one of the stops now while traveling up and down I-5 because of that experience. The shop is very clean and well organized, and wait area is set up with families in mind. Totally would recommend it!

Very professional and friendly group of guys. I brought my car in for an A/C evac/recharge but the old compressor was leaking badly, so they couldn't proceed. They didn't charge me for any of the work up to that point and were happy to revisit it after I replaced the compressor (I had a spare). The spare compressor ended up needing the clutch from the failed unit, which again they were happy to tackle. They worked late to finish it up and the final bill was very reasonable for the amount of work and number of back and forth sessions. They're also happy to provide rides to and from the shop.

Our 16 year old daughter brought her Ford Escape in because the power steering went out. They realized it was just the hose. They treated her like any other customer and not as a child. She left feeling safe and secure. About a week later it started doing it again, they found the problem and fixed it right away for her at no additional charge. Eli is a joy to work with.
