Our 16 year old daughter brought her Ford Escape in because the power steering went out. They realized it was just the hose. They treated her like any other customer and not as a child. She left feeling safe and secure. About a week later it started doing it again, they found the problem and fixed it right away for her at no additional charge. Eli is a joy to work with. Stay away they are scammers! I went to this shop for a transmission. They charged me $3700 and talked me out of purchasing an extended warranty. Telling me that this transmission was heavy duty and I'd be wasting my money. They said they never have transmissions come back and the guy who put it in was the best! The regular warranty is for 1 year. Well a little more than a year later when the warranty was up, the tranny starts feeling funny. So I take it back in. They check it out and assure me that there is nothing wrong with the transmission. Well about a month goes by and it starts getting worse where it's slipping. So I take it back again and they tell me I need another new tranny, of course my warranty was up so I had to pay for it. They assured me it would be cheaper this time because it wouldn't require as many parts. I was enraged and after threating to go to the BBB. They said they could give me a break on the price about $2,000 but they would only warranty it for 3 months and I wouldn't have the option to purchase an extended warranty. What!! why would they do that, I know because they know they do crappy work and it probably will go out again! I ended up accepting that offer because I plan on getting rid of the car anyway. So it ends up taking them more than 2 weeks to get it fixed they kept telling me it'll be ready tomorrow then the next day and so on. I ended up having to miss work and asked for a loaner car but they wouldn't do it. Said they couldn't afford the $25 per day. When I did get the car back they offered to drive it to my house. I thought this was nice, but when he got there, he was acting real nervous. Had me sign reciept of the vehicle and almost took off running, to his ride, who hadn't shown up yet. I get in the car it smells like grease and oil and the gas light is on. The transmission works but feels a little rough if you ask me. What a bunch of Crooked Jerks. If I could give them a worse rating then this I would. I received absolutely horrible customer service by the owners, of all people. I went in using a coupon I had got off of Groupon and asked for an oil change. I was a first time customer of Meineke and thought they were offering a good deal through Groupon so I'd try it out. Bad mistake. I had only asked for an oil change nothing else, as my car did not need it and I was short for time. Before I knew it the mechanic came into the lobby and told me he broke part of my wheel while getting my tire off. I was confused as to what he was talking about so he led me into the back to show me. As he was explaining that the piece broke because of who ever put the tires on last tightened them too much and I would now pay for the part he broke, it hit me.........I didn't even ask him to be doing anything with my tires. When I asked why my tires were being messed with when all I wanted was an oil change, the Female owner said to me well we always do complementary tire rotation and I'm sure you were told that. At this point I'm getting pretty irritated and let them know that I did not ask anyone to touch my tires, and I shouldn't be paying for a part that is broken by their mechanic who performed a service I did not need, or ask for. The Male owner then stated fine I will take the charge off since you're whining so much about it. I waited around for 2 hours for their mechanic to fix it and never received so much as an apology from the owner, only the statement that it's better where they moved from because people aren't like they are around here. Can you believe it?! The point of the Groupon was for them to build up their customer base, but instead they lost more customers then they know. Businesses are build on word of mouth.....
