Hyundai service near Tualatin, OR

Our 16 year old daughter brought her Ford Escape in because the power steering went out. They realized it was just the hose. They treated her like any other customer and not as a child. She left feeling safe and secure. About a week later it started doing it again, they found the problem and fixed it right away for her at no additional charge. Eli is a joy to work with. This has to be one of the worst Hyundai dealerships I've ever been to. The service people seem more intent on selling overpriced parts rather than service. My wife and I bought a Santa Fe from this dealer and found the dealer to be pretty shady. They attempted to change the price of the car at the last minute, so be very careful when dealing with them. As for the service, after having the car for only 4000 miles, one of the tires went flat. We took the car back to the service center but they spent a day looking for a leak and not able to find it. They refilled the tire and put it back on the car, but by the next morning, it was going flat again. My wife took the car back in and they "found" a shard of stone in the sidewall and proceeded to tell her that they would not cover this kind of damage and she would need to buy a new tire. Now, I would never buy a tire from a dealership, but since I was sleeping (working night shift) they hard sold the tire to my wife, at more than a 20% markup from other stores in the area. Upon confronting them about this, the most they would even consider doing was giving me a couple free oil changes. The service manager showed no interest for my business and in fact, at the end of the conversation thanked me for my money. Obviously, this is all they care about at Hyundai Beaverton. You will not find any service at this place of business, avoid it at all costs.

I have 3 vehicles and Mel has serviced all 3. He has done brakes on my BMW Z-4, and my Corvette. He just did a tune up and transmission service on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Everything he has done for me has been professional and the price, in most cases, is less than other garages. I am very impressed with Wade Yashimura, his new mechanic. Very intelligent young man and very thorough. He found things on my BMW that other mechanics had missed. My Jeep has 140K miles and it purrs like a kitten since he worked on it. I won't be using anyone but Mel's to do my auto repairs.

I had my Ford diesel truck in this shop three times (three expensive tows) and after spending several thousand dollars and being assured that the starting problem was finally fixed, the problem persists. Very frustrating. I was treated me courteously by this shop but I cannot recommend it for diesel repairs. They just didn't seem to have the skill to get the job done. When you pay to have something fixed, it should be fixed.

Got my 2008 Audi A-4 s-line fixed. After I bought it from coparts, had all the body work and repair done at Alpina auto, since I'm friends with the owner. Great job, only the check engine light kept coming on, and every time they scanned it, it came back with an EVAP code. Called Nazier, who was kind and patient, and I dropped off my car to see if they could figure it out. I had read so many amazing reviews online that claimed he had the best prices, and does the best work. 2 days later, got a call from Jared, who said they found the problem and ordered a part to replace the Evap hose, which was cracked. Price was $383 for part+installation. Seemed a bit pricey, and I had originally done a 3 star review, but Nazier called me and explained why it cost me that much and he really gave me the best deal he could find. Offered to give me a free oil change anytime. Nobody cares more about preserving business, keeping a sterling reputation, and maintaining customer satisfaction more than these guys do. I recommend them to anyone.
