Service stations service near Delta, PA

Terrible. Took my 99 Isuzu there because the exhaust system had loosened up and needed welding. Got talked into replacing the transmission pressure sensor as well to get rid of the error code. After work was done, the car would idle high and it started shifting hard, also the TPS error was still coming up. I took it back and asked them to fix it. A disgruntled mechanic told me he looked at it and couldn't do anything because the problem was electrical. Took the car to a friends relative who's a trustworthy mechanic. He informed me that they had installed the wrong TPS, which didn't align properly, and they had wired it wrong. It would go to about a 30% throttle at start up, then the voltage would actually decrease as you applied the gas pedal (it's supposed to gradually increase). Now it's been about 2 months, the exhaust weld has completely come undone and my car is loud again. The work they do here is horrible and I have no doubt they cut whatever corners they can. This is by far the WORST Gas station in all of Baltimore. In my personal opinion, all of Maryland. That being said, Mr. Singh, the owner continues to ensure the highest prices on everything. GAS is 30 cents above 2 other stations less than a mile away. Water and skittles prices would lead you to think you are buying enough to end starvation for a specific city. Mr. Signh also tells his customers that repair orders in his shop are up to the mechanics, however provides the decision to his mechanics. This has also ruined my relationship. If it were not for the outstanding work the mechanics do, i would never return. I can assure you if i spend another penny at this location it will only be for the mechanic work being done.

I get four cars serviced at J&L for everything and I have never had a reason to question their ethics, honesty, or workmanship. I have found that there pricing has always been fair and they will look for ways to save you money on parts and they never double dip on labor. That is charging you for the same task twice. For instance if you get your timing belt changed you should also replace your water pump. Most placing will look in the book and charge you labor on each task when in reality labor for removing the belt is loaded into both repairs. J&L will not take advantage of that situation. I am not sure what happened with the review above with the oil change but there is no way in my mind that it could have happened the way she says. Sounds more to me about someone looking for a free repair.

Great Bunch of Guys !!! They checked my air conditioning for .. FREE .. and added .. FREON. It worked immediately. NO CHARGE .. for the service or FREON !!! Not only are they a .. Full Service Shop .. but .. they do .. Transmission work .. also. I finally found a .. Trustworthy Service Center .. that I can tell my .. Family and Friends about !!! Thanks ..
