The attorney general needs to get involved which I saw other people have reported them. And need reported for faulty inspections. and they will have your vehicle there forever sitting in their lot. They probably didn't even put new parts in the vehicle, should ask for the old parts always especially by someone who is deceitful, unreliable, rob you blind and still be able to sleep at night.

It got to the point where I found the vehicle unsafe to drive. I did some research online and found that can be caused by loose lug nuts. Sure enough, I checked the lug nuts on the driver's side tire. Three out of the five I took off with my hand. They were never torqued. The tire could've come off on the freeway and then I might not be here to leave this review. I called meineke up and told them what I found. The man on the phone was totally unhelpful. First, he tried to assure me that they took my car for a test drive. Then he kept asking me what I wanted him to do about it. He didn't offer any sort of refund, or offer to speak to the mechanic about the oversight. He did offer to tighten my lug nuts if I drove my vehicle down to them (not safe). The conversation ended with him saying "What do you want me to do about it?" and I told him that I was going to leave a negative review online because people should know about this. It was then that he hung up on me. My voice wasn't raised. I was direct but still respectful. I've never been hung up on by a professional. I contacted corporate. They got in touch with the owner who offered to torque my lug nuts and teach me how to use some lug nut torque tool. I torqued the lug nuts correctly, it was their mechanic that forgot to torque them.

They knew that my car needed brake drums, yet failed to notify me of such. They with intentional deception, accepted payment for repairs that had not been properly completed, and also neglected to test the repair work that they did perform. I made an appointment for June 15, 2011 with Sharkey's Service Station to have a rubbing noise repaired in the rear wheel of my car and a state inspection.. I paid my $227 bill. On the way home after picking up the car, I still could hear the same rubbing noise, plus now the brake pedal was pulsating.. Returned and Judy said l could leave the car and they could fix it tomorrow. I agreed and started to leave. Sharkey yelled at her from the shop, "No, it needs brake drums." Judy went into the shop, then returned and told me the same.   That was a heck of a way to find out that it needs brake drums! That was not mentioned in the $200 estimate that I was given over the phone by Judy, nor by a follow up call. Since I went there with a specific problem, and the part of the cure was brake drum replacement, I should have been informed of the need for brake drums before they excepted payment for the repairs. I had also mentioned when I made the appointment and also when I dropped the car off that there was no hurry on my part as the car was a second car. Judy also told me that they didn't have time to test drive my car after repairs, because another person bought a car in late that it still needed 3 more hours of work and the customer had to have the car back today and they closed in less than an hour. At that point I felt it was best to just leave. I walked out and Judy followed me outside yelling at me and repeating, “Well, what do you want me to do?” And stating that everything was coming down on her all at once.   I told Judy that I was sorry that she was having those problems, and having to deal with another customers rush job but I expected to get what I paid
