This place is reliable, honest, neither slow nor fast, and is economical. It is best to call them during working hours, describe the issue(s), and set an appointment for drop off. They allow you to drop the keys through a mail slot and leave your car if dropping off before they open. They call you if there are issues and when the auto is ready for pick up. They offer great services, at good prices, give decent estimates, and communicate any issues during the process. The only drawback is that Tom is kind of a curmudgeon. He is a very honest and trustworthy person, but is grumpy nine times out of ten. My wife and I have been going to Stephanou's for about seven years or so. They are awesome.

My family and I have been taking our car there for over 20 years. The owner, Randy, is the best. His prices are a little more expensive than other places, but he always gets to the root of the problem and he is trustworthy. Routinely, he tells us when we can wait to get a service done or if we don't need to do it at all. In the end, this saved us a ton of money.

I want to say first this Shop was so friendly and helpful. I had got in car accident on Sunday. Called them Monday morning and my guy who I deal with, was out sick, so the Girl at the front desk, Cat got my car over to their shop right away! I even had the wrong phone number! I call the fax machine & Cat knew to call me back... Anyway, the whole experience was seamless, professional, and easy! They even dealt with my insurance company! I must say that the folks at Meiser's go above and beyond in the areas of customer service, and quality work. We came to The Reading/Topton area of Eastern Pennsylvania to visit family in the nursing home in Topton. We needed to get a family car inspected, but only had Friday to do this (we live in Ohio, and needed to return on Sunday). During the inspection, it was discovered that the car had a bad shock absorber. We were in a bind, as the area dealership could not get the car in on Friday afternoon to fix the issue. I called Meiser's to see if they could get the shocks in, and install them on the car. They called to make sure they could get the parts, and were able to get the car in to install them on Friday afternoon. One of the employees even loaned us a car so we could visit with family at the nursing home while our car was being worked on. This was MORE than over and above the call of duty, and gave us additional time with family that we would have missed out on but for her kindness. We would recommend Meiser's to anyone looking for quality auto work, and excellent customer service!
