I wanted to thank the mechanics of Safeway on Atwood avenue in Cranston for their excellent service on my vehicle. My wife and I went in this morning for an oil change and inspection. They went above and beyond with outstanding customer service. They Informed me of preventative maintenance and that my tire pressure was not correct and even corrected the issue. The price was fair and service was excellent. They put plastic in the car and even vacuumed it! I go to Safeway with my company vehicle and my personal vehicle for all repairs/maintenance. I highly recommend Safeway to anyone who cares about their vehicle and want to know that their vehicle will be properly serviced by quality mechanics!

Brought the car in for diagnosis, they said the engine was "seized" (total BS... I later took the engine apart and while I had melted the pistons, the rotating assembly did move and the engine could still turn over). Said I needed a new engine. Told me they found one to buy, then three months later told me they hadn't actually bought it (without calling me to tell me this). Returned maybe 2 calls in all of 6 months. SO, being a Volvo fanatic, I asked a couple of friends, then brought them an engine. A month later they hadn't even started on the swap. A month after that, I went in and took my car, my engine, and a bunch of parts that I had bought back from them. These guys can't pick up the phone without being hounded, their technician told me I was wrong repeatedly, and nobody was really willing to help. Fortunately after six months they only made me pay for the diagnoses they did in the beginning. Credentials: I took the car and engine and parts home and did the swap myself in my driveway in two weekends, having never done one before on my own. Saved an estimated $1800 and didn't have to deal with them again.

Rick over there at JnS is the MAN! I purchased my car from carmax and when I called to get warranty work done they referred me to J N S(glad they did). Brought my car down there with a ton of issues. Rick made the process as easy as possible. The guy honestly went out of his way to get my business. 1- Rick called my warranty company for me 2- He scheduled me a rental car that was covered by my warranty 3- Warranty company's are always a pain in the ass but Rick called em did all the leg work got them to pay without having me wait long. 4- I ended up paying less that what my original deductible was! 5- probably my favorite part of my experience was when I picked up my car it was WAXED AND DETAILED! Like I said these guys went above and beyond for my car. Thank you Rick. P.s if you have carmax extended warranty just skip the middle man and call rick they'll charge the same deductible, give you a better warranty that carmax does on their work 3year/36k! Jose C. After my old beat up car broke down in Warwick, RI on my way back to NYC, I happened to find Rebello Auto. Mike was amazing and had me out the door in 90 minutes with my car running better than ever! Mike got on the phone and made sure all the parts would still be under warranty in NY just in case, and although it had nothing to do with the repair, he made sure the super friendly care dudes topped off the fluids, checked the tires, and got everything set so we would be safe the rest of the way home. The pricing was very competitive and he went over everything before the work was done. While I was waiting I saw Mike handle a number of people who he knew and remembered, and they had obviously been doing work with Mike for a while. If I was in Rhode Island I would certainly be a repeat customer just like them. Thank you so much guys!

For the past few years now, I have trusted "Narragansett Auto Repair" with my car (and my wallet)! The two people to talk with there are Dan and Donna. Dan is the owner and I've enjoyed watching him as both the "boss" and a mechanic and on that rare occasion when he and his employees are stumped with a diagnosis, he is humble enough to turn elsewhere for input. They are all the kind of persons that I want to give me an estimate, to work on my car and to be trusted to tell me when something needs maintenance or just needs to be fixed. I"ve never been to AAMCO for auto service,I've gone to other shops I thought I knew fairly well> I had transmision issues with both my vehicles within a month< along with other vehicle problems.The other shops had different diagnosis for the problems. After much time in the shops ,and substantial cash outlays, the problems persisted to some extent in both vehicles. I went to AAMCO,I had my transmission problems pinpointed very promptly, I discussed other suspension issues,engine isues, that I was having with both vehicles,I told the tech I was very discouraged with the other shops, I wasn't sure of my next move.THe tech told me that he would get to the root of the problems,HE SURE DID! My transmisions were fixed ASAP,and the problems that were so elusive to others,were handily identified and resolved.AAMCO went above and beyond any expectations I had.These guys are the best.They deserve all the credit in the world. I would very highly recommend AAMCO for any and all repairs to your vehicle
