I lugged my newborn baby and 2 year old up to the desk and read the si... read more I lugged my newborn baby and 2 year old up to the desk and read the sign saying they will not take debit or credit cards for an inspection. I did not realize this when I drove up, otherwise I would not have gone in because I did not have any cash. I waited patiently for my turn and simply asked if they would make an exception. I was met with a curt "no." I understand that they probably make no money on these inspections if people pay with a credit/debit card, but I was hoping they would take pity and make an exception for a young mother with 2 very little children. They should put something on their road sign about not taking debit/credit cards so as to save people like me time getting 2 young children out of their car seats and then right back in again only to have to go elsewhere to get the inspection because they will lose a few cents in credit card fees. I will never go there again and will discourage others as well.
