I brought my car in for a new battery bc I was getting on the road and the voltage reading dropped to 12.4. They told me it would be a little over an hour. I called at 2 hours and the rep that had my car was supposed to call me back and never did. I finally got my car back after 3 hours. When I was driving back to Houston the voltage again dipped to 12.4 so I called Monday morning. I asked if they ran the electrical test after replacing the battery. He said they should have but it’s not with my invoice. He would check w the mechanic and call me back. No one has called.

These guys fixed my car’s leaking oil problems. The garage is clean now.

This is the first mechanic in more than a decade that I have found to be completely honest and reasonable. We have a Honda, a Ford and a Mitsubishi and all three cars are serviced by Paul and the mechanics. Such a nice, and honest service and dependable. Several times, Paul did not charge us to verify timing belts and some of the other "problems" other shops found. Once you experience their service you will never go anywhere else.

Maurice has always and completely deliver excellent customer service. I have been going to Maurice for years. I wouldn't change it for the world. He uses good quality products and gets the job done in a timely manner. I walk away satisfied every single time. He and his workers demonstrate good customer service skills and is very patient. Personable and not a bad location either. This isn't a big shop, but they are friendly and knowledgeable. They specialize in Jaguars, Land Rovers, and Mini Coopers. I must be one of many people who hate the Mini dealership (I drove all the way to the Woodlands to buy my Mini after reading reviews of Momentum Mini, but it's not practical to go there for maintenance). It's strange that I didn't hate Momentum Volvo when I had one....is it just the Mini folks for some reason? Mike is chatty and tells you what's going on with the repair, and knows what's going on with my car. I was so glad to find them.

I found the details of this place over the net. Wasn't sure when I first arrived and left my car repairs. But the gentleman (Mr JR) who worked on my car was extremely good at his job. He performed a thorough checkup, found the root cause and fixed my car. I would definitely recommend his workshop for Transmission related issues.

Had an electrical issue that has been diagnosed by multiple shops previously, including the dealership - they all wanted over a thousand dollars to replace a 'module that went bad' which was causing my windows not to work properly and my doors to not close themselves. The technician here pulled my car in and showed me that the fault with my Mercedes S550 wasn't in fact a bad module, but a module that needed to be reprogrammed/recalibrated. They took care of the problem while I watched, and didn't even charge me anything - they just told me to be sure and leave them a review online! So here I am! I'll definitely be back anytime my car or any of my family's cars need any work done! Thanks IDB!

After exhausting our local options we put the discovery 1 on a trailer and took it here. Most reviews were good so we thought we were lucky to find one only 5 hours away. We were mistaken. Maybe for maintenance work they would be ok, but to actually diagnose and fix the problem, I would never recommend them. The first time they had it for 2 weeks and $1100 later we had a tuneup, an ignition coil, new ground wire and spark plugs.... and a vehicle that still couldn't make it out of the parking lot. So keys in overnight slot again and it stayed for another 2 weeks. Both times my husband was told it was running well and they had been driving it around. Amazingly after one month and all the "driving" they did, we had 2 miles put on the truck and it still wouldn't get out of the parking lot. All of the things we had already replaced they replaced again... (ignition coil, oxygen sensor...) and wanted to keep it longer since they thought it was the mass air flow (had 2 sitting in the truck since we already went that route) and kept telling my husband the catalytic converters were blocked (3 months old... and would blow leaves across a parking lot). 2 days after trailering it home (another 5 hour trip there and 5 hours back) my husband talked online to a landrover owner who had similar issues. After checking the crankshaft sensor (as suggested) he discovered the 2 wires to/from the sensor were melted together. After fixing that problem it still "missed". So he went to look at the crank position ring and discovered a tine bent over. Because of this the sensor couldn't see it and was missing. After gently bumping the tine back up into place the sensor saw it and the missing stopped. It is running smoothly and perfectly. Now he just has to figure out why, after they rewired it, the front windows wont roll up or down, and the front sunroof won't either. I am not saying these people didnt want to fix it, I am saying that they should admit when they don't know and quit being parts replacers instead of mechanics. Also their master mechanic never seemed to be around, which makes me wonder if he was would it actually have gotten fixed. If you need a tune up, then this really doesn't apply to you but if you need a problem diagnosed you might want to think before sending it here. $2000 later and still not running any different when you pick it up, you have to ask if it is really worth it.

Had some simple exhaust work done by them. It mainly consisted of a little cutting and welding. They were unfriendly, and did a lazy and lousy job. Now I know why they weren't busy! I wouldn’t recommend them.

My vehicle had misfire code, I took it in they repaired it and it was fine for a while but then I had the same issue just over a week ago I took it back they said it was a faulty coil. They warranted the work but, the check engine light is on again and it’s the same issue!!! This place was recommended to me so that’s why I went but I live about 45 min away and I’m afraid my vehicle will not make it.

I have been to several auto repair shops in Houston and this one is absolutely the worst of them, by far. So I wanted to do a simple state inspection on my car, which runs very well without any noise or problems. Their behavior was so rude, unprofessional, and dishonest and they wasted my time by making me visit four times without finishing a simple inspection although they charged me for that. First time I went there, "their machine was down" so I came back the day after. After several hours of waiting, the rude staff told me that my car needs a CV axle replacement that costs $400 and without that replacement, they won't pass the inspection. (Note: CV axle is not even part of the state inspection!) But regardless of that they charged me for the inspection service and they gave me a 10-day grace period to fix this axle and come back to finish the inspection for free. So I replaced the axle in another shop for $250!! and came back the next week to finish the inspection for free as he promised me. But guess what? "The machine was down" again so they asked me to come back the day after. Finally, I took my car for the forth time and he told me "their machine is still down" and I need to take my car to another shop in order to catch the registration deadline. But I have already paid them for the inspection. When I complained, they just denied the whole story and whatever he already promised me to do. VERY RUDE! I do not recommend this shabby shop to anyone. I wish I could rate them zero stars.

I went into this shop to shop replaced my catalytic converter as the check engine light came on. Has the diagnostic done in that shop that read one code, which translated to the cat converter needing replacement. Well they replaced it, but when I saw them bringing my car back to the floor, the employees were pushing my car. I get to my car and three notifications are lit on the dashboard including the "check engine light." Now my car doesn't drive past 5 mph. Well I took my car to the dealership and apparently the Fast Traffic Mufflers employee somehow managed to reset the car's computer, leaving me $1000 in the hole. The deny any wrong doing and refuse to assist with repairs. I will be seeing them in court for reimbursement. Please save your time and money in taking your car here.

You all literally scammed me out of monies. I brought my car there to get a diagnosis on my AC because it was no longer working. The tech ran a scan, then recharged the freon ($270) only to tell me that the compressor was no good. Mike presented me with a quote of $2500 to replace it, parts and labor. From there, I took my car to another shop whom ran a scan and diagnosed the problem to be the pressor sensor. They charged me $340 for the scan, to replace the sensor, and recharge my freon and the AC has been working ever since. They also told me that you all should have know that it was the sensor before recharging the refrigerant. I will never return to your shop because I do not trust you. The same thing happened when Mike was on vacation and I brought my car in to have a water hose replace. You all did a bypass on my auxiliary water pump. I was told that the part had been discontinued and that the bypass was the work around per the dealership. Well, I called the dealership and was told that was not true as well and that bypassing the pump cause problems. When confronted with this information, after coming back from vacation, Mike insisted that only the hose had been changed which is not true. You all are not to be trusted and I will never refer you business.

I do not recommend anyone here anymore, due to bad service. Management and staff changed recently and no longer provide the same customer service. The manager there has no people skills and does not seem to care about the horrible customer service he provides clientele. I used Meineke every month for my regular oil changes for the past 4 years at this location and have been very disappointed with my last 3 visits. They always seem to find something new or wrong with my vehicles each time I go and feel pressured to pay for new & unnecessary services each time. A dishonest business does not look out for it's customers and will lose integrity,not just it's customers. I no longer recommend this location to friends and family and am now taking my vehicles elsewhere. Do your research and take your vehicle, where you are appreciated as a customer and where you can trust the people you do business with.

I was quoted $219 to install a Ignition Control Module, ( 6 5mm screws), the mechanic went next door to XL Parts, purchased a after market module for $139.00, installation took a total of 30 minutes, Mayco charged me $421.00 for part, $85.00 for test, total was $546.54,I returned on Monday and provided the manager 4 prices from 4 different parts houses, including price from XL Parts next door, I agreed to pay 30% over XL Parts price $180.70, he refused to settle,refused to show me XL Parts invoice, I offered a very fair price of $248.00, ( includes module, test, taxes ), Manager refused to discuss!! A COMPLETE RIPP-OFF, STAY AWAY

I've been going to this mechanic for a long time, I had paid for a brand new compressor for $1000. He installed a rebuilt one and lied to me. I went back to complain and to get the new one installed and he charged me labor to install it. The compressor is still having problems and he still charges me labor. I dont think its fair for me to keep paying labor when he is dishonest and should've done the right thing in the first place, I dont think we would've had this problem if he was to be honest.

Horrible Service. These boys don't know what there doing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE. They took my money but did not provide the service stated on the invoice. Had to get new brakes and rotors within 3 months of them putting new brakes and Rotors on, really really!!! Better Business Bureau gives this Meineke location an "F" rating . Sad but true they are not to be trusted. This business is not BBB accredited.
