WOW, what an exceptional car repair “treat!” So much so that I happily drive there from Clear Lake City for the smallest of car-related ANYTHING! Whitney, my service advisor, is truly on the ball.” She’s smart, friendly, knowledgeable, determined, accommodating, accountable, value-oriented, concerned, genuine, and simply a delight to deal with. And THEN there’s the leadership, specifically Harrison and Sady – it doesn’t take long after meeting these two to realize why they hired Whitney AND why they are all such a dynamic team! Ultimately, it all comes from the top and these guys are an iconic example of such – even their pricing is amazing! On my most recent visit… I had a tricky issue with my new-to-me car, in that it was electrical-in-nature and obscure, but boy did they figure it out. Corey, my technician, wouldn’t give up even when it took more fenagling than usual and Whitney kept all the moving parts coordinated for a quick, reasonable resolution – She organized the part acquisition, warranty coverage, communication needs, and repair, keeping me informed at all times. And the team even proactively helped me with transportation when an unexpected delay (by another leg of the repair) occurred. Obviously, I could go on, but I’m certain you get the point by now – you simply cannot go wrong by taking your car to RMS for diagnosis or repair – in fact, I just had another concern regarding my USB port seeming to be failing and they got busy, discovered the “problem,” and had my car back to me in less than a day – and all at no charge. This is how to keep customers coming back forever!

I have had prepaid service on my Mini Countryman S so I only had that experience. After that plan ended, the first time I took my car for service because the engine was kind of sputtering, I received a diagnostic that I had to change my spark plugs and a couple of other minor adjustments and they gave me such an outrageous quote that even the Mini serviceman was surprised! Fortunately I found Uptown Motorwerks and made the drive there. Wow, what a relief. Not only were they very fast and courteous, they helped me decide what would be better to do asap, what could wait. I left them my car and had a guy from their shop drive me back to my house (not a short drive). My car was ready the very next day and a great price and has been running perfectly after that. I cannot recommend them enough.

Had an electrical issue that has been diagnosed by multiple shops previously, including the dealership - they all wanted over a thousand dollars to replace a 'module that went bad' which was causing my windows not to work properly and my doors to not close themselves. The technician here pulled my car in and showed me that the fault with my Mercedes S550 wasn't in fact a bad module, but a module that needed to be reprogrammed/recalibrated. They took care of the problem while I watched, and didn't even charge me anything - they just told me to be sure and leave them a review online! So here I am! I'll definitely be back anytime my car or any of my family's cars need any work done! Thanks IDB!

After exhausting our local options we put the discovery 1 on a trailer and took it here. Most reviews were good so we thought we were lucky to find one only 5 hours away. We were mistaken. Maybe for maintenance work they would be ok, but to actually diagnose and fix the problem, I would never recommend them. The first time they had it for 2 weeks and $1100 later we had a tuneup, an ignition coil, new ground wire and spark plugs.... and a vehicle that still couldn't make it out of the parking lot. So keys in overnight slot again and it stayed for another 2 weeks. Both times my husband was told it was running well and they had been driving it around. Amazingly after one month and all the "driving" they did, we had 2 miles put on the truck and it still wouldn't get out of the parking lot. All of the things we had already replaced they replaced again... (ignition coil, oxygen sensor...) and wanted to keep it longer since they thought it was the mass air flow (had 2 sitting in the truck since we already went that route) and kept telling my husband the catalytic converters were blocked (3 months old... and would blow leaves across a parking lot). 2 days after trailering it home (another 5 hour trip there and 5 hours back) my husband talked online to a landrover owner who had similar issues. After checking the crankshaft sensor (as suggested) he discovered the 2 wires to/from the sensor were melted together. After fixing that problem it still "missed". So he went to look at the crank position ring and discovered a tine bent over. Because of this the sensor couldn't see it and was missing. After gently bumping the tine back up into place the sensor saw it and the missing stopped. It is running smoothly and perfectly. Now he just has to figure out why, after they rewired it, the front windows wont roll up or down, and the front sunroof won't either. I am not saying these people didnt want to fix it, I am saying that they should admit when they don't know and quit being parts replacers instead of mechanics. Also their master mechanic never seemed to be around, which makes me wonder if he was would it actually have gotten fixed. If you need a tune up, then this really doesn't apply to you but if you need a problem diagnosed you might want to think before sending it here. $2000 later and still not running any different when you pick it up, you have to ask if it is really worth it.

I purchased a LS P75 head from this place on a Friday and was later told on the following Monday, by the owner, that I was suppose to remove the head myself. I requested for a refund that Monday and was told Tuesday to pick up the head because they finally removed it that day. The owner said, " Sorry but head is there ready for you and if he didn't have the head then he would refund it." Not only did I purchase this head but I also paid for a motor swap which ended up having an oil issue that they did not fix. 11-18 -19 My car over heated. Stan, who is a lair and a cheat, told me it was a thermostat. So I greed to have them fix it. Then Stan called claiming the water pump was bad and it is easier to replace the timing belt at this time so I agreed. While they changed the timing belt they mistimed the engine and destroyed it. They bought a replacement engine a “ salvaged” long block. No telling how many mile is on it! I asked that they put the parts I paid for on the salvaged engine. Almost ONE month later, 12-16-19 after repeated calls made by me I was able to pick up my car. I presented the rental car bill and Stan, who is a lair and a cheat said the owner will send me a check, but my car broke after 10 minutes of driving. They tried to claimed it was the exhaust not the engine but eventually cleared the problem. I asked Stan who is a lair and a cheat, if the new parts are on my car and he said no, but I’m going to warranty it for 3yrs 36k miles prorated. Next morning the engine light came on so I took it to the dealer it was there for 3 days while repairing the wiring and sensors that weren’t wired correctly and install missing bolts on the engine! To date my car has still overheated 2X I have exhaust fumes in the cab and most importantly I have not been reimbursed for the rental car and don’t have the parts I paid for.

We had an outstanding experience with Spring Auto Pro’s and highly recommend them; they were friendly, honest and courteous. They go "above and beyond", example is our Range Rover broke down on the side of the road, just out of warrantee and was towed to the dealership. In typical dealership fashion they tried to take advantage of my wife and quoted a $5,300 repair. I had it towed to Spring Auto Pro’s from the dealership where we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of effort they put in to find out exactly what was wrong and fix it properly; not just a replace everything attitude. They took their time, really investigating the issue to pinpoint it, which saved us over $4,000! They could have charged us more knowing we’d be happy with half the price of the dealers quote but they didn’t. They have the do the right thing attitude, which is hard to come by in the automotive industry. They went out of their way to assist us with obtaining and coordinating, a rental car and also got us a discount. This may have been the best auto repair shop experience I’ve had in my 40 years and I’ve owned a lot of vehicles of all types. They give you the straight truth, what you need now, pricing options, and what you'll need at some point (and how long you can wait). These guys are great; we just purchased a new vehicle and will be using them for any auto needs we incur.
