I would NEVER, EVER go back to this place. I needed to get my catalytic converters replaced and called for a quote. Their quote was cheaper than anyone else and I already called 5 other places. But what struck me as odd was that quoted immediately, unlike the other places I called. All the other places had to do a little research and call me back. My feeling was that it might be too good to be true. And I was right. They had my car for almost two weeks and didn’t look at it until they already had it for 4 days. In the end, they never fixed the problem and just wasted my time and money. In addition, they would also say they would call back and NEVER called me back. I ALWAYS had to call them. I’ve got better things to do than to keep following up with a business that has my car. I’ve read several reviews about this place on various sites and wished I had read them and avoided this place. THIS IS THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

Automotive Care Specialist were very quick, clean and professional. I will go back to them when I have over repair needs.

Just had some repairs done to my 2008 Ford Diesel. I was quoted over a 1000.00 at another shop for repairs that were not even needed. Dorsett's saved me almost 350.00 dollars as the truck did not need what the other shop said it needed. These guys are VERY knowledgeable on diesels and the work was performed to my complete satisfaction! The staff is very friendly and I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Had a starter fail last day of a conference in Galveston. Needed a quick repair as I was scheduled to leave Galveston that day. Called to make an appt. & they got me in right away. Service was prompt and have no issues with the repair. Repair was more expensive than I had estimated, but typically, parts/ labour are more expensive on the island... Overall, if I had another issue, while in Galveston, I would go there again.
