Moral of the story: avoid this place as they can't honestly set specs to the right model, they are over priced, they still try to nickel and dime you despite being over priced, they don't honor their scheduled appointments, and they don't honor their own verbal quotes; if they can't charge you on a package deal, the price goes up on a single item. I wasted my whole morning thinking these guys are some sort of good quality and in the end they treat their customers like trash. I did end up going down the street and getting my oil AND filter changed for under $20. I'll never go back to Midas again, and in particular don't trust anything Matt says or does.

i lost faith in Overseas Car Care, aka Overseas Service Haus, aka Overseas Service Auto Haus after having my car there for 3 months for a bad fuel pump. had it towed to another shop only to find out that they Overseas had removed about $2000 worth of perfectly good parts and threw them away. They refused to replace them. to give them 1 star makes me sick.

I have been going to 3rd street garage for a little over a year and have had several things fixed on my jeep. One was the steering box in my jeep last year. When I picked up my jeep the airbag light was on. The mechanic told me to just unhook the battery and the light will go away. I did that and the light remained on. I called Melvin and he said bring it in. I also had a leak in my radiator so I went by there . They were suppose to fix the radiator and fix the airbag problem created when they were working on the steering box. I was even told by the mechanic that is was a clock spring that probably broke while working on it. When I picked up the jeep they fixed the radiator and did not fix the light. When I asked about it they told me they they need to order a special tool to see what the problem was but they said if it was the clock spring then its on them, and if its my airbags then its on me. WHAT??? My jeep was fine when I let you work on it and now there is a problem. It should not be anything I have to deal with. I called back to see if they had this "Special Tool" and was told that Melvin would call me back. That has been 5 days ago and I have not heard from anyone.. Also I find out from them that the whole time, including now, that my airbags will not work if I have an accident. I have had my kids in that vehicle quite a bit and never knew this. The place is ran horribly and is very dirty. I am sure they they have done some people right, but the experience I have had with them has been HORRIBLE. The fact is there is probably no special tool and they are just hoping I don't come back. The spring cost over $400 they told me and that's $400 that they should eat, not me. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

By far the best service that I have received. I chose Bill due to the reviews that I saw here ans the fact that he's in Aviation like my husband, so I knew he knows his stuff. He's quick to respond, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Everything that you would ever want in a mechanic. He looked at our car & gave us an initial diagnosis. When our part came in, he was quick to get the work done quickly and most importantly, correctly. We're riding back in cold air again!! AND his prices are reasonable compared to dealerships and franchises. We wont go anywhere else from now on. We have our family mechanic for life. My car over heated so my husband took it at this place which was a bad move because the mechanic named Adam called us and said that my radiator was bad he quoted about 650 dollars to fix it i immediately called back saying the price was too high and told them not to fix it and that i would pay 75 dollars for the diagnostic fees I think I ticked him off by saying that cause he said he was going to charge me 325 dollars for the 5 minutes of nothing he did to my car, so I rush to the store and confront him saying why was he charging me 325 for 5 minutes , he looked all nervous and told me he was going to take the 125 dollar off and would charge me the standard price which was 200 dollars, I was really mad so i paid the money and stormed off. I never write reviews , but yes I do read them it helps me a lot so I am just writing this so you guys can think before hand do some research call other places and then decide where you want to take your car to get it fixed, because i got ripped off by this place. I used to always get my oil changed from the Kwik Kar franchise but never again I learned my lesson the hard way ...btw I got my car fixed for half the price ..Goodluck

No starts wasn’t an option!! My car broke down while traveling down 35E on a Sunday and it happened to be next to that shop-so I had it towed there since I live 4 hours away!!! So I call Monday morning to see if it can even be fixed...I get a quote and say ok...after all that work is done there’s more so I allow that as well...so a few days go by and it’s now Wednesday morning so I call to see if it’s ready and they say yes so I op in my rental and head that way...I arrive around 1:30 and the car isn’t ready bc it had started to overheat again so I wait at restaurant until they call at 4 to tell me it’s good to go...I don’t even make it all the way out of Dallas before it starts to overheat but by then they’re closed...so I park on the side of the highway for it to cool for about 30 mins and take off...well I made it for an hour then it died on me in Georgetown which is still another hour and a half from my home-and I ended up not eleven getting home until 1:30am bc I had someone come get me! I call them today about a refund and was basically told to go fuck myself...I don’t understand how someone can take your last $1000 to fix a car that you had already told them you weren’t sure if it was fixable or not and be ok with themselves...I would’ve rather them told me it has too many problems to be fixed-bc now I’m out $1000, no car, and wasted an entire day-I have never been so disappointed in my entire life!
