She took her car there and Dominic looked at the car and told her exactly what was wrong and what it would cost. She offered to pay him and he declined. LT is the best BMW (or any German car) repair shop around. He also works on Japanese brands, but do now know about them. He is honest, friendly and thorough and his prices are MORE than REASONABLE. Think in terms of a fraction of what dealers charge. He used to have a shop in Manassas, but now works from home and mobile. He provides a written estimate prior to any repairs and sticks to it - no ticket shock when you pick up your vehicle. In short, LT under-promises and over-delivers while being most pleasant to deal with. If you love your BMW as I do, you have rocks in your head if you trust it to anyone else.

I have taken my 02 Passat to them a couple of times for repairs and have received good service both over the phone and in person. The repairs I had done were done professionally and I was always happy with the work. Most recently I had to have them remove the factory stereo so I could remove sub woofer wires, as I was trading it in, and Charlie came out and took care of it for me at no cost. I understand that with the right tools it is an easy task but he still came out and did it with a smile on his face. If I find myself with another VW or any of the German cars I will definitely take it back to them as needed.

My pickup needed a new gas tank. It was beyond my capabilities so the truck sat for several years. I had it towed into AA. They easily replaced the gas tank and pointed out a number of safety and repair items that the truck needed. They reworked the brakes, changed out the generator for an alternator and related electrical items, replaced the radiator, fixed the clutch, and generally reworked the truck from front to rear. They did an excellent job and were very reasonable. The odometer did not work and I could not get insurance because I could not track the miles driven. The owner took it home and repaired it for me. I do not know of any other shop that would have taken the time to put this truck back in great running condition while demonstrating the care and diligence to do a first class job. Highly recommend them, especially for older vehicles. Thanks for getting my truck safely back on the road.

Good local shop...I like supporting local shops. I don't want to pay for donuts and fancy wait rooms. These guys are honest and hardworking....they are friendly and most important inexpensive. I would highly recommend.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Chantilly Automotive for over 5 years now at the recommendation of a co-worker. I have met with Bill, the owner, and Chris and Sonny; each of them has been fair, knowledgeable, and courteous every time we have taken our cars there. I think they deserve much better than the 2 and 1 star ratings they received several years ago. They used to offer a shuttle service to my work a few years ago, but had to cut back when the recession hit. However, my wife and I make it work to take our cars there because they are so reliable.
