Contacted Drake and it was very professional and they answered all the questions in a correct manner. All my conversations was with the owner Carl and I got the best quote. I have a 2007 Prius, first I took my car to Manassas Monroe and was quoted shy of $700 for brake pads and rotors. Next I price the parts online which can be purchase for shy of $150.00. Next I called the deal and was quoted at $534.00. Next I called Drake's and talked to Carl, and was given the price of $269.00 plus tax and shop fees which came out to $288.00. He was honest upfront and did show integrity. Yes I would use them again and will recommend to family and friends. By the way driving the car after the brake job felt like a job well done. No squeak, no pulling no jerky stops, just smooth breaking the way it should be. By the way this is my first time ever posting a review for anyone. Overall a great place to go. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. That said, they WILL up-charge you signifcantly to change your engine and cabin air filter. The guy said that to change a cabin air filter, it takes 30 minutes to access the filter itself, thus necessitating a charge of $50 for parts and labor. I knew that was patently false, as it can be easily accessed on my vehicle (2013 Accord) through the glove compartment, which unhinges without any tools. I bought the same cabin air filter from NAPA auto parts for $15 and installed it myself. Essentially the same speech was given for the engine air filter, and I did the same thing. BLUF: Know about how much something should cost and how easy the job is to do it.

Mr. Kim is "the man." I took my 1989 Jeep YJ for extensive work, including removing a bolt-broken exhaust manifold for gasket replacement, chasing vacuum leaks, diagnosing "death wobble" due to a faulty sway bar link, and a handful of other things. I got the vehicle back in spectacular condition. His estimate was spot on (even said he didn't feel comfortable charging me for something because it'd put me over the original estimate), the service was performed perfectly, and in a timely fashion. He's also incredibly kind and honest from what I can tell. In fact, I overheard a telephone conversation, the content of which I won't disclose out of privacy respect, but the conversation reinforced my belief that he is a very honest businessperson. I've recommended the shop to other local patrons and will be taking the YJ back there for routine maintenance as well as any (*knock on wood*) repairs. I recommend Skyline without hesitation.

I can't say enough good things about J & F Motors. I became a customer in 2011 when the warranty on my 2004 BMW 545i ran out. I felt that I couldn't get good answers from BMW dealerships and every time I went in, I didn't feel comfortable with their answers and what I was paying for. I can't say enough positive things about Ty Nguyen's Arlington Auto Shop. I lucked into it about eight years when I was again hit while parking on DC streets. Ty offers personal, reliable service with free estimates. Work is reasonably priced, done on time and is guaranteed. I have recommended his shop to several of my friends and they were equally pleased. My car is ten years old and looks new as Ty uses excellent products and does paint matching that restores my car to its original look. Try this shop once and you will be back.

Import Auto Service is fantastic!! I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I started going to Import when I had a 1986 Volvo and needed my air conditioning repaired. I took it the dealer who wanted $2,000 to fix which I did not want to pay for something needed only during the summer. I decided to take my car to Import - to my amazement, the total cost was $800.00 and included some other services. That was the beginning of a great and long lasting relationship. I’ve used European Auto Body for my cars several times and have been more than pleased with the timeliness, the quality of work, and the price. This shop does excellent work and it’s obvious they take pride in what they do. Specifically, I refer to Mr. Linton Browne, who treats each car as if it’s his own, and who is one of the most customer-oriented technicians I’ve ever met. My most recent repair involved adjusting the position of the passenger-side front fender on my 2008 Corvette. The fender had shifted out of alignment—due to a long-ago previous repair from some other auto body shop—and was hanging up on the front edge of the door, preventing the door from opening. I stopped in one morning to make an appointment with Linton to bring in the car for repair. Linton literally dropped what he was doing, got out a few tools and, in less than ten minutes, he had adjusted the fender perfectly, thereby correcting a door-opening problem that had plagued me for quite some time. AND his price was exceptionally reasonable. Where else can you find service like that? I guess I don’t need to say where I’ll continue to bring my cars in the future!

Bethesda Sunoco and the whole team, Ian, Don, Mike, Dominic are terrific. My friend had a car that did not pass emissions inspection. She took her car there and Dominic looked at the car and told her exactly what was wrong and what it would cost. She offered to pay him and he declined. I can see why they have such a high Washington Checkbook rating! Hard to find honest mechanics!
