Bethesda Sunoco and the whole team, Ian, Don, Mike, Dominic are terrific. My friend had a car that did not pass emissions inspection. She took her car there and Dominic looked at the car and told her exactly what was wrong and what it would cost. She offered to pay him and he declined. I can see why they have such a high Washington Checkbook rating! Hard to find honest mechanics!

I wanted to wait to see how the repairs I received here worked out. Good news! My car is still running great. My car broke down nearby this place and I limped in to their parking lot and left the key in the drop box. They have a website that shows that they accept overnight and weekend vehicles, which was a reason why I dropped my car off there. I lucked out, because these guys did a great job. They were very clear about what was wrong when they called me, and they gave me good advice about the timing belt being changed. It's been a few long driving trips and my car is still running well and not overheating. They did a great job and if I lived closer to them, I'd take my car there again. John Kennedy

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Chantilly Automotive for over 5 years now at the recommendation of a co-worker. I have met with Bill, the owner, and Chris and Sonny; each of them has been fair, knowledgeable, and courteous every time we have taken our cars there. I think they deserve much better than the 2 and 1 star ratings they received several years ago. They used to offer a shuttle service to my work a few years ago, but had to cut back when the recession hit. However, my wife and I make it work to take our cars there because they are so reliable.

Im honestly surprised that there arent more reviews for this gem! Rodney (the owner) was so kind, professional and helpful. I had gone to Pep Boys who told me I needed $600 dollars in work...after leaving International Auto I only paid $126 (including an oil change!!) Tom is the best. He knows cars and shoots straight. Takes care of his customers like family. If he can't fix it, he will send you to the right place or take it there himself. He will get the work done while you are at work in dc; by offering to pick up and drop off your car at the train station.

If they can't do it, they know who can. If you are not completely satisfied, Jack and Darlene will do what it takes to make sure you walk away feeling like you've just been serviced by the best. They are willing to work with you to make sure you get what you need to get you back on the road safely, and as quickly as possible.

Avoid this place like the plague. It's now branded as a NAPA store. Employees were very unhelpful, blatantly rude, kept taking lengthy phone calls, too lazy to look up parts, and spent more time joking with each other and talking than actually helping customers. If I could give it a 0, I would.
