Import Auto Service is fantastic!! I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I started going to Import when I had a 1986 Volvo and needed my air conditioning repaired. I took it the dealer who wanted $2,000 to fix which I did not want to pay for something needed only during the summer. I always do thorough research and Import Auto Service had great reviews from customers and the Better Business Bureau. I decided to take my car to Import - to my amazement, the total cost was $800.00 and included some other services. That was the beginning of a great and long lasting relationship. Import kept my Volvo on the road for many years - I sold the Volvo in 2010 and the new owner still drives it and (on my recommendation) takes it to Import for servicing. Import now services my current Volvo. I trust Import completely - they are honest, ethical and are committed to providing quality service and having satisfied customers. In my experience, the mechanics at this shop are not very thorough. I asked them to check my brakes when I was in for an oil change because the they had not been replaced for quite a while and I figured they might be getting low. They said my brakes looked fine--but several months later a different shop told me (and a third shop confirmed) that the brakes were practically down to nothing and needed to be replaced immediately. I am very lucky that a had a more careful/competent mechanic look at my car, otherwise I would have continued driving around with virtually no brakes--putting myself and everybody else on the road in danger. So I would take anything the mechanics at Falls Church Sunoco tell you with a grain of salt.

I can't say enough good things about J & F Motors. I became a customer in 2011 when the warranty on my 2004 BMW 545i ran out. I felt that I couldn't get good answers from BMW dealerships and every time I went in, I didn't feel comfortable with their answers and what I was paying for. From day one, J & F has exceeded my expectations with their level of customer service, taking the time to explain to me what has gone wrong, what needs to be repaired asap and what can wait. I am a fanatic when it comes to my car and they understand that. They are what an automotive repair shop should strive to model themselves after.

I can't say enough positive things about Ty Nguyen's Arlington Auto Shop. I lucked into it about eight years when I was again hit while parking on DC streets. Ty offers personal, reliable service with free estimates. Work is reasonably priced, done on time and is guaranteed. I have recommended his shop to several of my friends and they were equally pleased. My car is ten years old and looks new as Ty uses excellent products and does paint matching that restores my car to its original look. Try this shop once and you will be back.

I wanted to wait to see how the repairs I received here worked out. Good news! My car is still running great. My car broke down nearby this place and I limped in to their parking lot and left the key in the drop box. They have a website that shows that they accept overnight and weekend vehicles, which was a reason why I dropped my car off there. I lucked out, because these guys did a great job. They were very clear about what was wrong when they called me, and they gave me good advice about the timing belt being changed. It's been a few long driving trips and my car is still running well and not overheating. They did a great job and if I lived closer to them, I'd take my car there again. John Kennedy
