I would like to thank the staff at Bonds as i was out for Train fest on Saturday.I had come out from West Allis to enjoy your city and hospitality of all invovled in this free event.So upon returning to my truck i found it wouldn't start.I tried to jump it and when that failed the good people at Bonds had one of their Mechanics come to assist me in trying to get it running.Mind you this was in the rain.Between the two of us we got it started finding out it was my starter.Was able to get back home and put a new starter in on Sunday.So thank you all at Bonds and the mechanic that braved the rainy weather.I work for a auto parts distributor in West Allis and deal with many shops may i say you have a great looking shop.Thanks again for getting me started and back on the road!!! Awful place. I brought my car there because the front driver's side wheel was making a scraping sound. The owner Bill went on a ride with me so he could hear the sound, which he did and had an idea of what it could be. I brought the car back during my scheduled time, which after waiting for about 4 hours after I dropped it off that they can't figure out what is wrong with it, saying there seems to be nothing wrong with the "rear: tires. They spent 4 hours looking at the wrong end of the car. I told them and the owner knew that it was the front driver side. After 3 more hours after the phone call I go there to see what is going on to find my car outside, not even being looked at. And no phone call giving me any more information on it. The girl at the front desk said it "must be my brakes" and I should get a certain kind to fix the issues. The brakes are BRAND NEW CERAMIC BRAKES, not cheap metallic ones. It's not the brakes. Then she said it must be the rotors because they had some wear on them. Please you have no idea what it is and the owner decided to go home a few hours after they opened. Poor Communication. Lastly, I took my car home to find grease all over the driver side interior door and a large scratch right in the doorway (freshly scratched). The grease has been a pain to get off and the scratch is down to the metal. I have photos to post as well. POOR SERVICE.

This place is my heaven on earth. If i could give more stars i would. Weve had them work on our 2009 yukon denali, our 2012 chrystler 300, and our 1999 mitsubishi eclipse. The last job i brought them was a 1987 Chevrolet C20 pickup. The transmission needed a rebuild. They did it in under a week, and they even beefed it up for just 100 more bucks! It was smooth, down shifts were incredible, the whole shabang. Everytime i hear someones having a problem with a car we dont know how to fix, this facility is my first recomendation. These people are so great, ive called asking their opinions on a noise and instead of giving me the same old same old ever shop does, "well.... youll have to bring it in and well charge to look at it" theyve helped me over the phone asking to describe it. Ive even had the receptionist pull a guy from the garage for his opinion! The only bad thing i have to say is, ive called numerous times to set up an appointment and tbe problem gets fixed by itself or i fix it, then forget to call and say its a no go on the appointment, or i do call and i emd up canceling. I feel so bad every time i do it because they are really good people! Thats my fault not theirs though. I have a 1973 corvette that was recently involved in a rear end hit, as soon as the body shop finishes with the back, everything i need done to it will be going to Natiomal Pride. I found Midas West Allis on yelp and after checking different positive reviews about them I decided to go there for oil change. I made an appointment one day before and drove up their shop after two days of my scheduled appointment but I was treated like a regular customer and my car was taken in and worked on immediately. They really proved what a customer service mean. I am really grateful to the knowledgeable and helpful mechanics they have.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Had my brakes done in May 2014, in October 2014 I was at Tires Plus getting new tires when the mechanic there discovered ALL FIVE of my right rear tire studs were stretched out, and when they went to put the lug nuts back on, one of the studs BROKE OFF! Apparently when Midas put my rear tire back on after the brake job in May, the lug nuts were over-torqued. During the next 5 months that the damage was done, THANK GOD that the studs didn't break off while driving!!! It costs me FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS to get the hub assembly replaced, along with 5 new lug nuts, BEFORE the car was even drivable again. I called and spoke to the Cudahy Midas manager, they refused to take responsibility, so I contacted Midas Corp and filed a claim....of course that was just as useless, they "tried" to intervene, yet in the end they couldn't do anything...surprise! Some BS about it being past 90 days, um I wasn't claiming the brakes were faulty, just the labor who damaged my vehicle! AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!
