I found them through AAA when I moved to Milwaukee in 2010 and have been going for routine and non-routine maintenance at least 4 times a year since. They do good work, they communicate well, they are priced fair and they go above and beyond. One year I was in an accident and brought my car in to get the steering and suspension realigned. When I picked it up they had popped out the dent in the bumper purely out of goodwill given they aren't a body shop and it was free of charge. If the check engine light is on and the diagnostic is something silly like a loose gas cap they will turn off the light and wave the diagnostic fee. If it is something that needs to be repaired the $90 price of the diagnostic is applied towards the repair. Given all the times I've brought my car to them I've only had one incident where some lug nuts were loose after a tire rotation. They were immediately apologetic and reimbursed me. I can't say enough good things about this place. When you walk in you will see many hand written thank you notes from other equally grateful and happy customers. When places like Jiffy Lube are scamming customers by cutting corners and selling unnecessary services it feels good to have a trustworthy mechanic.

Loved the atmosphere in the shop. Mike was so professional and quoted me a darn good price! The mechanics were professional and explained everything they did on my SUV. I highly recommend Dave's Garage! It's the most honest and friendly repair shop that I have ever been to!

i had my vehicle to 4 different shops and have been without my vehicle for almost a month. i then was referred to schaumann's auto electric, where not only did they fix my car, but did it in a timely manner and at a fair price. i would highly recommend this place if you are having car troubles.

I've lived in Milwaukee for 13 years. For the first three I floated around trying to find a trustworthy, affordable, and fast mechanic. I finally found them around 2004 and I can only say wonderful things about Kevin and Dennis at Greitens. They run a clean shop, are knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, and fix your car/truck fast and right. The prices are completely fair and straightforward. Most reviews on Prestige Auto Service in Glendale are favorable, however our experience with them was not. We took our Lexus SUV in for rear brakes (pads and rotars). While driving it home, we immediately notice a noise coming from the rear wheels and brought it back to them the following day. The owner, Scott, took it for a test drive and thought the rear brakes needed to be bled, so I agreed to have them do that (at a cost of coarse). We were still hearing the noise when we got it back. About a week later the noise suddenly began to sound like a freight train (seriously). A mechanic at service garage that I drove by said it sounded like the parking brake, which it turned out was the case. I had to have it towed to Prestige, at 7:45am on a Monday. They finally got it back to us on Wednesday at about 4:00pm. In all, we were without use of our SUV for 7 days-for a brake job. In all fairness, they fastened a shield that was loose under the truck- as a token of apology I suppose. They didn't charge me for fixing what they knew they missed, but I feel he should have gotten to it sooner. Sorry! We won't be back! Rudy (Shorewood)

So far so good. Didn't give me the news I wanted to hear but they are being honest and upfront. Their customer service is top notch. Every time I spoke to them, they were always pleasant. I hope to never have the need for their services but if the need arise I'll definitely use them. No doubt giving references too.

This place is my heaven on earth. If i could give more stars i would. Weve had them work on our 2009 yukon denali, our 2012 chrystler 300, and our 1999 mitsubishi eclipse. The last job i brought them was a 1987 Chevrolet C20 pickup. The transmission needed a rebuild. They did it in under a week, and they even beefed it up for just 100 more bucks! It was smooth, down shifts were incredible, the whole shabang. Everytime i hear someones having a problem with a car we dont know how to fix, this facility is my first recomendation. These people are so great, ive called asking their opinions on a noise and instead of giving me the same old same old ever shop does, "well.... youll have to bring it in and well charge to look at it" theyve helped me over the phone asking to describe it. Ive even had the receptionist pull a guy from the garage for his opinion! The only bad thing i have to say is, ive called numerous times to set up an appointment and tbe problem gets fixed by itself or i fix it, then forget to call and say its a no go on the appointment, or i do call and i emd up canceling. I feel so bad every time i do it because they are really good people! Thats my fault not theirs though. I have a 1973 corvette that was recently involved in a rear end hit, as soon as the body shop finishes with the back, everything i need done to it will be going to Natiomal Pride. I recommend this place to anyone with any car problems they dont feel confortable with doing! Dylan S. Gurnee, IL
